Pure and total bliss that’s what AM are for me. Their scenes today were heartwarming. Like a first sip of that coffee that rejuvenates your tired soul. Now we have another thing to add into our list for AM coffee, earrings, red balloons and running shoes. Isn’t it magical on how Misbhir help us see beauty in something so ordinary as a cup of coffee. Let’s dig into the episode. The rain has ended, and AM are standing near the car. Mish is pouring out her heart out to Abhir. Her true confidante the one she knows won’t ever judge her.
“Family kay liay jab soch thay hain toh sahi galat nhi bas khusi dekh thay hain” She confesses that her family’s happiness come before anything else. She is so indebted to them. Abhir however, is not convinced he knows that something else compelled her to sacrifice her self-respect
“Tumhari maafi mangnay ki aur kia wajah thi. Angry chroni mujh say mat chuapo okay” He asks her gently that was the other reason and notice how Mish is struggling with herself here. She is not looking at him.
“Tum” She tells him that I did for you Abhir and I instantly melt. How far has this girl come in love. Asking for forgiveness for a mistake you didn’t commit requires an awful amount of courage. Abhir’s love has given her that courage.
“Main” Abhir is startled to know that she did this for him. Think about it from his perspective. His whole life Abhir has made it his business to help people. He has done so many things for other people and there is this vivacious girl standing in front of him who did something for him.
“Hah Abhir tum nay meray liay hamesha kitna kuch kiya hain hamesa mera saath diya hain tum apni family tak kay against gaye meray liay mujhay laga agar main sorry nahi bolo gi toh baat phir say bigar jayay gi iss liay mainay sorry bol diya” She goes on to tell him that you have supported me in thick and thin and you have gone against your own family for you. You have always fixed things for me and today I wanted to fix things for you. Notice the small smile that Mish has here. Talking about him makes her happy. The tears that she is holding so desperately inside are about to flow. Abhir knows and he is about to put his hand on her shoulder and comfort her. But Mish dusts of her tears and changes the subject.
“Coffee piyo gay?”
“Kia” He shakes his head in disbelief this is the second time tonight that this girl has surprised him. Here she was before crying and now she is offering him coffee. But that’s how Mish deals with things imagine how many times this girl would have cried in her life and then managed to put herself back together for her family. How many times she would have masked her true feelings so other people don’t become uncomfortable. My heart goes out to her, poor girl.
“Itna door tak lay kar ahayay ho coffee toh pila sakti hun” Its just a small favor that she can do to repay his kindness and maybe just maybe she wants him to stay a little longer. Abhir appreciates the love Mish has for Kuhu.
The next scene though I am in shipper heaven guys. How cute our babies were in this particular sequence. The lighting guy that perfect gorgeous lighting and Abhir in that white shirt. A sight for sore eyes. Mish is fiddling with the coffee machine and asks him what biscuits he would like and Bam as looks at her man(hopefully) standing in that oh so gorgeous white shirt she can’t help being mesmerized. The words get stuck in her throat.
“Kia Hua?” Homeboy is having so much fun. He knows that Mish is affected by his presence. How innocently he asks this question.
“Kuch nahi” Oh Mish girl don’t lie kuch kuch hota hain hum sab samjaty hain
“Mujhay laga tum kuch kehnay ja rahi ho par mujhay dekh kar nervous ho gayi” Abhir is being so flirty here he knows that she stammered a bit due to him.
“Main aur nervous bilkul nahi” Yeah right and those coffee beans that fall from your hands un ka kiya. The beans are falling and even you are falling in deep. Admit it girl you love this white shirt clad guy. She pretends to be busy to ignore him. Their music plays and Abhir slowly walks up to her and recites this beautiful poetry.
“Jab hum tum tanha hotay hain
Tum thoda ghabara jaati ho
The wind rustles both their hairs. The dim lighting of the kitchen illuminates their face. The tension or attraction between them is palatable.
Nazaray mujh say Mil jaati hain
Tum thoda sharma jaati ho
As she realizes that he is that close she looks away his gaze is too intense.
Aik qadam main aha gay lun toh
Peechay tum hat jaati ho
The way the camera pans on their hands is beautiful. It symbolizes their love. Abhir going all for it while Mish is hesitating. He moves closer and closer to her. He is almost about to grab her hand and at that moment Mish smiles but then she quickly controls herself and moves to the other side of the kitchen island.
Mujhay dekh kar lag ta hain
Doh hissaon main bat jaati ho
How apt are these lines. Mish is torn between her love for him and the love for her family. A part of her wants to be selfish and not think about others and then a part of her reminds her that she is indebted to her family and does not have the luxury to be selfish hence, she moves away
Dur bhi rehna chaathi ho
Aur pass bhi ahana chaati ho
These lines again convey her dilemma. She wants to be close to him. They both lean in and their faces are so close to each other. Hot damn guys.
Jab hum tum tanha hotay hain
Tum thoda ghabara jaati ho
Abhir is biting his nail or something and is looking at her intently at the beautiful women in front of him.
“Aisay kyun dekh rahay ho?” Such an innocent question na
“Aisay kaisay?” Oh, Abhir please Mish and we all know that you know that gaze was something else.
“Tumay pata hain kaisay tumay pata hain main conscious ho jaati hun”
Lol Abhir gives such a hilarious reply here even I seconded Mishti’s what.
“Sunsan raat main iss ghar main tuharay saath akela
Main bhola sa masoom sa dashing sa cute sa larka. Agar tumhari neeyat who prem chopra/ranjeet types ho gayi toh😊 😊 “Notice on how he puts extra emphasis on dashing and cute.
“Shut up. Abhir tum bhi jaantay ho main sirf tumay yahan coffee pilnay kay liay lay kar ahayi hu” She can’t help but roll her eyes at him and his lameness. Abhir doesn’t stop though his coffee puns are epic.
“Coffee toh kisi ka bhi code word ho sakta hain. Raat coffee ho chuki hain, tum coffe hot lag rahay ho, meray dil main coffee khayal aha rahay. Tum andar aha gaye bas utna hi coffee hain” I know indirectly he is saying all the things he wants to hear from her. Haaye how cutely he says these lines. He is trying so hard to contain his laughter.
“Stop it tumharay stupid jokes abb coffee ho chukay hain” Mish had enough of his lameness, and she hands him the said cup of coffee that has given us these such adorable scenes. Coffee is AMs spirit animal guys we have another shipper in our midst.
“Oh Abhir tum meri coffee ki tarah strong aur dark ho” At this point I was roflling of my bed. Matlab konsi c-grade movies say lines seekhi Abhir nay. His oh Abhir and the way he said it killed me
“I will kill you” Mish shows him the fork and smiles. Abhir starts to run and she chases after him her own sorrows forgotten. That’s the power of A’s love he has infused so much positivity in her life. Saathiya ray plays and I loved their tom and jerry game they are playing. Abhir falls down and she laugh. He asks for her help and she pretend to give him her hand but then with draws it and laughs hysterically. Even he smiles while looking at her laugh. This particular sight of her laughing is what he wanted to see all night long especially after she broke down in the car. These little moments that writers sprinkle in with the actual drama are so soothing. Here are two of the purest souls of this series sitting together away from the chaos. They steal a quiet moment for themselves. The first unofficial AM date.
“Konsi baat saaf saaf baton” She asks what is it that you want me to tell you.
“Agar tumhay mera aisa dekhna pasand nahi hain toh saaf saaf bata doh” He is indirectly asking if she likes him. Does she not like the way he looks at her so much in awe of her so much in love with her.
“Aisi baat nahi hain par woh” She instantly tells him that this is not the case
“Matlab pasand hain” Abhir is so hopeful here. Sometimes I feel he knows Misthi feelings more then she knows them herself
“Mujhay iss baray main baat nahi karni” She however, is not in the mood to talk about it
“Saach?”
“Aik saach baton. Pata hain Abhir aaj mera legendary wala bad day chal raha tha lekin tum ahayay aur tumagri stupid stupid baton say main phir say smile karni lagi” She dodges the real question but confesses that his presence in her life gives her happiness. This particular line alludes to the first time Abhir came into her life. Remember how he was hiding in the shadows and she was crying. Even as a stranger he comforted her. Even that day she was having a really bad day but ever since he has been with her. Her days have become better they are filled with laughter. He makes her smile. He makes everything better. Even today when she was feeling low he left his own brother’s function to make sure she was okay. She goes on to say that even though your jokes were lame and stupid they made me crack up.
“Jis baat say tum smile karo who stupid ho hi nahi sakti sirf khoobsurat ho sakti hain” His voice modulation here and her awestruck expression. Such simple words but they touch her heart. How does this guy do it waisay how does he steal her breath away every single time?
“Mish ahnay walay 10 dino main bohot problems honi wali hain I mean iss tarah ki bohot saari baatein honay wali hain. Lekin tab tak koi problem nahi ho gi jab tak hum aik dossray say honestly baat kar sakay. Main tuhmari smile apni stupid batton say waapis lay ahaon ga. Misthi saach bohot khoobsurat hota hain tumhara dil saacha hain iss laiy itna khoobsurat hain tum mujh say kabhi jhoot mat kehna. Trust me saach chayay jitna bhi karwa ho main tumhari coffee kay saath galay say uthar lun ga” He goes on to tell her that how the next 1o days will be a true test of their bond but as long as they are honest with each other they can surpass every obstacle. Notice here how he compliments her heart. I mean normally people give physical features more importance but not our guy Abhir. He tells her that her beautiful heart is what makes her special. It’s the reason that people like BP,BM, Nanu and Parul admire her. It’s the reason she draws him in like a moth to flame. How wonderful it is to hear this compliment from the man you love.
“Mujay pata hain tum hamesha mera saath doh ga aur main tumhara” Mish also has complete faith in him. She knows that this guy will not abandon her when she needs him. He will stand shoulder to shoulder with her and she would so the same for him. As they both say bye to each other she talks to herself. She admits that some truths are very hard and complicated to say out loud. Kuku and Mish do not have the ideal bond that he assumes they have. She hates the fact that she has to hide this from him. Lying to him hurts even more then lying to her foster parents.
Okay so in the next scene Mish changes her password and I can bet my life saving that its Abhir’s name. As she hears voices she pretends to sleep its Varsha and Jasmeet. As usual Jasmeet has spews venom they both want Mish away from Kuhu’s happiness. Their conversation is heard by Mish and imagine how many times this would have happened when she had to listen to trash talk about her behind her back. Her tears here and resigned self are gut wrenching. She pick up her phone abd clutches it near her heart. “Tum kaha ho Abhir” Haaye poor girl had to put up with this for god knows how long but Abhir has shown her a different side of life. A life she is slowly beginning to realize that she wants. She even tries mending things with Kuhu just because she doesn’t want to lie to Abhir. Kuhu though is dumb as ever so she refuses to bury the hatchet.
“Mainay koshish ki Abhir par shahid iss jhoot kay saath jeena padhay ga … sirf 10 din main puri life toh nahi badli ja sakti”
Hmm I have a strong feeling a lot will happen in these 10 days. Loyalties will shift and secrets will come out of the closet but one thing is certain by the end of it AM will be stronger then ever as their love for each other is sincere and it will endure.
