Why is he promoting this film?

He ends up promoting other people's films more than his own. Someone tell me if Zoya Factor has been canned or not? I hope it has.

Meanwhile, I heard Viacom 18 has announced its entry into Tamil cinema by getting the release rights of DQ's next film 'Kannum Kannum'.

DQ has taken up Tamil, Telugu, and crap Hindi films, he is not doing Mallu films these days. So annoying. I was soo looking forward to 'Sukumaran Kuruppu', that's such an interesting biopic to do [in a very morbid way]. Will be so good to see him don a negative shade, but looks like that is going to be his first film as a producer as well, so its gonna take a hell lot of time.

I missed Oru Yamandan… Heard its not that good. Will watch it if it comes on Netflix.

Sukumaran Kurup was a criminal.

Sukumara Kurup, born Gopalakrishnan, had a short career as an officer in the Air Force, before changing his name and becoming an executive with a marine petroleum company in Abu Dhabi. In 1984, he decided to kill a man – someone who had no connection to him other than a certain physical resemblance – after he came upon a financial embezzlement case that took place in Germany.

Perhaps because it looked so easy, the idea took root in 38-year-old Kurup's mind and he convinced his brother-in-law Bhaskara Pillai, driver Ponnappan, and his friend Shahu to be part of a bizarre attempt to fake his own death in order to claim insurance money.

Sukumara Kurup is a most wanted-criminal in the Indian state of Kerala. He is accused in the murder of Chacko, a film representative, in the year 1984. Chacko was strangled to death and his body was burnt inside a car. Sukumara Kurup allegedly committed the crime to fake his own death and claim an insurance amount of INR 800,000($75,000)(1984 $rate was 10.74) by killing Chacko who bore a resemblance with him. The Chacko murder case is one of the long-standing cases in the judicial history of Kerala.

The case again caught media attention during the mid-2000s when there were reports on Sukumara Kurup look-alikes in various parts of India and Kerala. Even though, Kurup still remains untraced. [2]

Yamandan premakatha isnt bad.. I enjoyed the movie thoroughly till the climax..i havent laughed like that in a long long time.. A total paisa vasool movie.. only climax i didnt find impressive.

But if you dont know the language, and if you are not familiar with the atmosphere here, then you wont be able to enjoy the jokes..Its better to skip than watch with subtitles on.

I am a Malayali, language isnt the issue. I will watch it when it releases on netflix or prime.
