When Deccan Chronicle asked the 20-year-old actress about her views on extra-marital affairs, she said, "I think as a person I am very against it. Just cheating and lying in any way doesn't go well with me. So as a person, I am not okay with extra-marital affairs."

Directed by BR Chopra, Pati Patni Aur Woh was a comical take on extra-marital affairs which released in 1978. Though it has been more than three decades since the film hit the screens, Ananya thinks it is still relatable and its remake will find takers.

"Yes, it has been 30 years for this film, but it's a very modern take on the film. Both Bhumi (Pednekar) and I have very important and very strong powerful roles. It's a very universal film which everyone can relate to in some way and it's very funny," she said.

The remake of Pati Patni Aur Woh is being directed by Mudassar Aziz. Kartik Aaryan will be seen as a "samarpit" and "aashiq mizaaj" husband, Bhumi Pednekar will play his wife. Ananya has been roped in to play a secretary, who turns their lives upside down.

Currently, Kartik, Bhumi and Ananya are shooting for Pati Patni Aur Woh in Lucknow. The film is slated to hit the theatres on December 6 this year.

Ha ha...good joke. Wasn’t there something posted on how she cheated on her boyfriends and dumping them once she was done with them? I remember reading something about her being with Monisha Jaisingh’s son to have a designer sponsorship and dumped him after she got SOTY.
