I guess I've only really followed very few ITV shows like DMG, MJHT, KRPKAB etc. The ML would always be the one to apologize on those shows. So, that is refreshing for me.

LOL same here. I ve watched only IPK1, IPK3, IMMJ & SBRK. In all these the hero never ever groveled no matter wat he did 🤔

I think they are not pacing the show correctly and still exploring characters and establishing links this late in the show. Like we get it, Sonakshi has a hard time expressing her dissent towards her mother but you cannot dedicated a good 10-15 minutes establishing that fact every single day. Either show Sonakshi dealing with it or come back to it later when she is ready to and show us the differences for 2 minutes max. Every single day is too much.

And I really want Sonakshi herself to stand up to her mom, I do not want Rohit to butt in. He can maybe provide Sonakshi with logical alternatives to Suman as a manager, but it has to be Sonakshi. If Rohit 'saves her' then it will be a run of the mill😫

@bold - Couldn't have agreed more! They're going so slow that I end up skipping everything until solo or duo scenes of Ronakshi.

Also, character development for Suman is sooo flawed! They made us first hate her for lack of ethics and greediness, then tried to justify and sympathize with her after the police drama, and now returned to same evilness. Since I hated Suman so much from the beginning, I just couldn't feel any sympathy when she was arrested and cried about the past...I should've but she was just so OTT before that nothing justified her. So in my head, Sonakshi being mad at Rohit just doesn't feel right. Maybe its just me but I can't relate to Sonakshi's devotion to her mom...isn't it too similar to the daily soap perfect daughter-in-law who worships and forgives her mother-in-law no matter what.

Ohhhh. I don't know what the last 2 shows are. I'm good that way because majority of my shows have been Star One shows which were youth oriented so all these MLs were young and they didn't have that huge an ego, especially when it came to their girlfriends. So, they always apologized for their mistakes, even if it wasn't immediately. 2-3 din mein toh unko samajh aa hi jaata tha. :p

SO MUCH THIS. I really want Sona to stand up for herself first. Like, knowing Rohit, he wouldn't be able to go without adding his opinion and saying something to Daayan aka Suman, but Sona should be the one who starts the conversation and confronts her mother first, before Rohit gets a say.

They are over stretching the fiasco, Suman step daughter treatment and Pari rich princess syndrome has already been highlighted, if Sonakshi once has explained then its high time to cut them off from those crab talks. Rastogi loudspeakers need to tone down and Sona being a mature woman has to realise on obvious things that her mom is milking only for money. There are too many Parvati on television sensible audience will switch themselves off if at least Sona doesn't shoo Cinderella step family. The actress aren't an innocent breed even if she wouldn't have gone through casting couch but would have certainly experienced greedy, selflsh and pervert who wants something from you. What exactly she is getting from Suman to have such an excessive control meaning her basic education was also stopped by step treatment mom. She just being a manager, celebrity status has been achieved all by her own hardwork and smartness. Sandeep Sikachand needs to know his target audience, people who enjoy something hatke from regular SBS drama are watching the show.

why I feel Sonakshi might step daughter...her mom hug brother and sister not sonakshi the other day..

Agreed. Even I couldn't find emotion in suman's flashback.

Also, I don't think it was Suman's character development, it was character justification 😂 or at least explaining why she is the way she is and why Suman believes she is in the right,no matter how illogical the explanation is.

And I do think Sona's anger towards Rohit is right because his family put her mom in jail. No matter how horrible a woman she is, she is Sonakshi's mother. So ofcourse no, she is not going to forgive him expecially when she righted every wrong she or her family had knowingly or unknowingly done to him. Obviously, I hope she stands up for herself, otherwise, then it would be a perfect-bahu- daily soap bs.

Why do women in Indian shows always need a man to rescue them. Be it from a pervert colleague, greedy family. I thought this show was different but day by day the CVs r proving tat its yet another run of the mill STAR soap.

Remember when Sonakshi actually rescued Rohit from that cliff. We all rejoiced & applauded coz it was a welcome change from the usual trope of hero saving the heroine. But sadly that was a flash in the pan. Now the plot is just like any other show.

This post is not intended to spread negativity or I dont want to nitpick & complain bt each & every thing. But I am sure every1 ll agree that the story & the qlty has gone in the past 1 week compared to the 1st 2 weeks.

couldn't add anything more..i really wanted to see a strong female and male lead and the compromises they make in life and career and not defenitely, a prince charming and damsel in distress which ITV,wattpad,etc everything loves to show..

i expected altogether a different story line seeing first 4 episodes, but i'm all wrong...

angels11, i have been your huge fan since sbrk...i never posted anything in sbrk season 1 but i just loved your views especially on You-Know-Who😆
