Cliched????? Boring tracks???????

I know that they cant just show Rohit & Sonakshi talking. There must b some drama, tension, conflict for the story 2 b interesting & to progress. But do they really need 2 show the cliched Witch mom, B* sister all over again. I liked the initial episodes where they showed the problems & issues faced by women at workplace & in society in general. Also the differing view points & thought process of Rohit & Sonakshi. The practical & snobbish Rohit to the emotional & kind Sonakshi. But now the plot has completely deviated. Its all about evil mom & her favorite daughter, our Cinderella Sonakshi & Prince Charming Rohit to the rescue.

Why do women in Indian shows always need a man to rescue them. Be it from a pervert colleague, greedy family. I thought this show was different but day by day the CVs r proving tat its yet another run of the mill STAR soap.

Remember when Sonakshi actually rescued Rohit from that cliff. We all rejoiced & applauded coz it was a welcome change from the usual trope of hero saving the heroine. But sadly that was a flash in the pan. Now the plot is just like any other show.

This post is not intended to spread negativity or I dont want to nitpick & complain bt each & every thing. But I am sure every1 ll agree that the story & the qlty has gone in the past 1 week compared to the 1st 2 weeks.

It now feels like the ubiquitous Indian drama where leads are sidelined by family stagecrafts! I am so putting a period on the show up till the romance sequence embarks on 😳

And seriously in normal family never seen a mother specific love for one child and sonakshi the dukhiari attma..... Sonakshi mom behaviour can't digest... I feel those scenes are over dramatic 🤓

I am k if they dont show romance or the leads being lovey-dovey. Its too early for them 2 fall in love. But at least not this Suman-Pooja drama 😡

Parents may ve favorites. Like for my dad I was always the pet & my didi used 2 crib. But not like tis. Where Suman treats 1 daughter like a slave & another like some princess 🤢

The freshness that we appreciated in the initial weeks is starting to decline.

To keep the story and the characters connected they've woven unnecessary conflicts and dramas.

Hard agree. I don't like all these subplots that have suddenly made their way in, but I like how Ronakshi are being handled on the show. Like, in yesterday's episode, they showed that convo where Rohit said that it was okay if she couldn't forgive him or his family but they should stop this now. In earlier shows, they would always show the guy grovelling till the girl forgave him. So, it's nice to see that.

Yes, it's cliche in parts, but they're also subverting tropes where they can and I definitely like that.

Oh no I am done with Suman-Nishi-Pooja-Pari crap. I cant bear any of these characters. They r all super annoying, OTT, the actors ve 0 charm so all their scenes fall flat. I wish they focused more on Pulkit, Sona, Rohit, Papa Sippy, Rohit's past, Sona handling workplace harassment etc.

I thought the issue with Hindi soaps are that the hero NEVER GROVELS no? I am k with family drama. But not this Suman-Pari crap. I ve reached a pt where I just just just cant tolerate Suman. I feel like reaching into the TV set like Samara in Ring & give her a tight slap!
