Hrithik was excellent IMO, but he had one thing going against him. No Bihari speaks Hindi like that, no bihari. That accent was stereotypical.

And it will take some performance to better Shahid in Kabir Singh.

Just like Aamir does not need an award to be considered as Great Actor. Same way, Hrithik has reached a level in Acting and has made a mark above Awards now. He deserved Best Actor for Kaabil in 2017 but did not attend a single award show. He will not attend even the next award shows.

So, you need not lose sleep over him.

if two actors fight for the best actor award, it will goes to the actor who played positive/inspiring character but not who played negative/drug abuse.

Than again we have plenty of examples where bad guy character won over inspiring ones: Vaastav Sanju won over good guy Saarfarosh Aamir, Devdas won over Bhagat Singh, Hrithik Dhoom won over Munna Bhai/Krissh, Shahid Haider won over PK.

I think this good guy/bad guy thing isn't the criteria, although main criteria will always be kon ziyada views layega lol

Anand Kumar said they don't speak Bihari..he said some other language..not sure but Magadhi I guess.

Hrithik packed an effective punch in this movie. I was bowled over particularly in the scene where Anant comes to know he got into Cambridge. So subtle and so beautiful nuances

Shahid is so overhyped for Kabir Singh..He was overacting all through..-_-

If not Hrithik it should either go to Ayushman or Vicky. Hope they award underdogs this time. No way they should further glorify pathetic kabir singh by awarding shahid. He just mimicked Vijay devrakonda.
