Shru, leave it.
I remember in the DBO forum, when Shrenu was playing a positive character, I'm fans used to bash her for crying all the time. When she lied and faked her pregnancy to save his life, they bashed her for being dark or something like that.
The point is they would always bash her. In the end, Gauri fans gave up, and started chanting 'Sab Gauri ki Galti' 😂
Here also people are not satisfied. If Jahnvi tries to kill PK and make his family homeless, then she is too dark and does not deserve happiness. If she doesn't do these things, then she is weak and childish. People forget that she ruined PKs political campaign and then resurrected it to make PK grant land for poor people's hospital. She has been manipulating him for a year or more, which is in itself big thing. But she is not evil enough, she is not good enough, she is not grey enough 😂
Maybe we should start chanting here also, 'Sab Pooja/Jahnvi ki Galti 😂
This is what I was saying in the internalized misogyny post, that whatever a female does she will be criticized. Because we internally hate female characters. 😂
I think l will stick to this AT or make my own posts. There is too much of Jahnvi hatred in the forum
I guess u got me wrong, I'm neither a Jhanvi hater nor a Shrenu hater, I said that for me it's not about who is wrong and who is right, it's about showing another perspective from other characters' point of view, when people were expecting empathy from junior Mittals, I said that they were also dealing with their own issues even if not as big as Pooja/Jhanvi’s, Jay wasn't even born when all this happened so how is he supposed to understand all feelings wise even if he admits that what was done to Pooja is wrong, he is expressinghis feelings with regards to what happened to him just the way Pooja was engrossed in expressing her feelings without focusing on others feelings, but just the way Kabir was wrong and had no right twisting her arm, Jay had no right to throw something on her, express your feelings but u have no right to resort to violence.
A basic human trait when ur feelings are also hurt with no fault of you is that u will be more focused on yours
I don't hate female characters, and I don’t belong to the league of « a woman is the woman's biggest enemy », but I also don't like double standards, for me emotional and physical torture and humiliations from both sides are a big NO, respect begets respect, disrespect begets disrespect, u know sometimes u might have the right claim but u end up getting less sympathy than you deserve because of the way u tried to show things, if we can talk about gender equality then we should be brave enough to stand for it and not only when it suits us, if a guy misbehaves with a woman people say go kill him when the girl does it it's not seen as outrageous as that!
Anyways as I said if u read my other posts, I was trying to show things from another perspective, « Shruzzy » was showing the other perspective of Pooja so nicely and politely in her reply to me, but she didn’t pass judgment on me that I’m against Jhanvi while Krithi1990 and you in reply to Shruzzy insinuated that I have a problem with everything Jhanvi/Pooja did or does and u even brought Shrenu’s previous character, making it both sound like if I’m here to attack Pooja and Jhanvi’s characters played by Shrenu when it’s not the case.
People can agree to disagree, can refute each other’s arguments but passing judgment is what makes people refrain from discussing, when u said in the other thread that u will stop posting I said that no why should u, u have the right to express what u think and what u feel, u having a different pointof view from mine (which is not even the case as I also know where Jhanvi is coming from) doesn’t bother me, it’s the fact of passing judgment when the main muda was discussing fictional characters is what was disappointing for me.
Anyways girls, I’m not here to create any issues, or to attack anyone, I was discussing the show and fictional characters nothing more, I’m not here for the purpose of attacking an actor or a character, I like Shrenu’s acting since the days of EBP and I saw glimpses of her in IB and I totally loved that scene where Gauri confronted Omkara when he thought she was cheating on him, and I totally understood where Jhanvi’s character comes from, and I had never a problem with people supporting Jhanvi but I can also have my opinion about things, I had never a problem with how she treated Manohar, PK etc but with Kabir I had my reservations and I was kind of wondering ki why people don’t see things from other characters’ point'of view as well, why do they expect them to be kind of flawless in their reactions when we never expected that from Pooja/Jhanvi. They are also human beings.
And yes I like your post « Put yourself in someone’s shoes », it is very articulate and makes a lot of sense from both the main characters'points of view, but again I reiterate that if someone presents another perspective it doesn’t mean they are against some actor, character or they are misogynistic, some might be, but generalising is wrong.
I couldn’t post before as I am a newbie and I only have the right to post11posts a day, so the first part of this post I wrote it yesterday morning and surpringly u used the Jhanvi hater, Shrenu hater phrases in your new post which makes me feel that maybe I wasn’t just assuming things and that u really thought that maybe my posts were because I am a Jhanvi hater, Shrenu hater (which is not true) and not because I wanted to explain things from another perspective
I reiterate that there is no denial that what Pooja lived was tragic, painful and traumatic, something that scars u for your life, so just because I talked about other characters doesn’t mean I don’t understand Pooja’s pain and I honestly felt disppointed with judgmental tone and the continous accusations of internalized misogony u mentioned in many of your posts
Anyways it was nice interacting with you all, I genuinely liked many posts of many members, and many of yours Ananya made a lot of sense to me but Iguess it's time for me to stop posting because the last I want is spoiling the fun for people, see as long as people enjoy discussing and agree to disagree things are good, but when a party starts feeling irritated then no use of hurting a real person for a fictional show.
