Rigmarole: 1. a long set of actions or words without any real purpose: 2. a long, complicated, or silly process:
*Disclaimer: This is not for or against any character or actor on the show just about the story
We have three characters on the show whose characterization is weak. (My opinion)
Anurag: During the Komo track he was showed as a weak one who took the easy way to solve an issue and since then the makers are somewhat trying to shape him but they don’t know where to take this character because this is supposed to be a story of star crossed lovers.
Prerna: During this track, she is weak, a person who had chances to tell her lover she was having their baby but never did and now she has gotten herself in a stark situation. The story makers now do not know what to do with Prerna.
Bajaj: This track has shown him utterly black. Maybe they are in the process of showing he has lot of shades but they are yet to do that so all we see is BLACK.
Right now by the looks of it he is forcing a young girl to marry him(calling it a proposal but a proposal that she is in no position to refuse) so to me that is a forced hand.
He tells her he does not have any romantic inclinations in the marriage, but she is young shouldn’t he realize that she may want romance in her life and if so how is he gray?
They have not build his layers until now so shouldn’t they have built it so that at least we rather understand the man behind the mask? (People who have not watched Season 1).
Isn’t that what real storytelling is about?
I get that drama sells and exaggeration is needed but shouldn’t have a little semblance to reality or is that asking too much?
I see arguments here that Bajaj is black, he will make Prerna strong and Anurag and Prerna are immature lovers yadda yadda and that is ok but my question is
How is it that a completely Black man is rooted for here?.
Why does Prerna need a man to make her strong?
And where does this story leave Anurag?
I know this stories premise is that the lovers never meet ok I get it. However, here all I see is the characters are depicted as if they are in a Rigmarole.
