Is the serial based in kolkotta or maharashtra?

I completely agree. With Mr. Bajaj's suave and sophisticated image, it looked completely out of place to have all the rituals and customs, without family or close friends. It would have been more in keeping with Mr, Bajaj to have a legal court marriage followed by a cocktail party.

And Anurag suddenly turned into a childish teenager! (poorly directed!) How could he not pick up on the distress in Prerna's voice and her strange conversations? He used to be so astute about her feelings.
