This has got to be one of the stupidest choreographies I’ve ever seen. It makes Diana look unappealing until now I thought that was impossible. Sunil Shetty and Raveena part was nice until Badshah and Diana joined them.

Agreed. The OG had such innovative and new moves going on...esp with the backup dancers wearing helmets and all.

The Sunil Shetty and Raveena Tandon part was cute. But they effed up the song, made it sound outdated compared to the OG.

Yep, they messed this one up big time. Like you said, the original was very innovative for its time. This one looks very amateurish.

The credit for the OG goes more to Anand-Milind, Abhijeet and Chinni and Rekha Prakash, the choreographers. The energy in Abhijeet's voice is infectious, the choreography was freakin innovative and in today's lingo...DOPE, about the music well I consider A-M geniuses.

I have said this to my friends and I'll say it here as well...its not easy to recreate an Anand-Milind song. Their songs are ahead of their times (other than the sound which was basically 20 years old, a technical issue) If u listen to their work, they use such rhythm patterns that were not electronically available, they were all created from scratch. And no other rhythm pattern would go with that song. The rhythm they came up with for Shehar Ki Ladki is legit MADE for the song.

Same way Mithoon messed up Aye Mere Humsafar, Mickey McCleary messed up Dhak Dhak and Meet Bros messed up Kya Karte They Sajna.

I am actually interested to see what Bagchi does to Main Toh Raste Se Jaa Raha Tha and Husn Hai Suhana for the Coolie No 1 remake, they are even tougher songs to crack xD
