She has no resources and has been conned from all ends. She is a simple girl made helpless by an cunning manipulative man.

So at any point showing Pre softening towards a man who cold heartedly ruined her future with a “deal” that didn’t have another optional way out would be a farce.

Anu insulting her at Komo engagement will seem like child’s play to what RB has cornered her with. He doesn’t follow his heart but if and when he does, if Pre is a wife in name only he will get a taste of his own medicine.

Pre without knowing the truth behind Anu’s marriage to Komo accused him “tumne mera vishwas toda, I cant believe I fell in love with you, you are not deserving of it”. What she does to Anu is in ways worse, not only did she dump him for RB she kept the truth of her pregnancy from him and no line of justification will cut it 5his time. That was cruel anyway you look at it, given she had so many chances to tell him the truth but chose not clue hIm in.

Again, the pregnancy track is so bizarre that it is impossible to digest. No thought process behind the scenes, showing pregnant woman falling, fighting goons, getting drunk, getting intoxicated, not telling the father of her child even though they have reconciled. Pathetic Story again and so difficult to swallow.

Just because they had no idea how to create a MU between the leads. Koi sir pair nahi hai story Ka 🤔🤨

Bajaj has been forced into the story and without giving any time to adjust, just forcefully married to the leading lady.

The characterisation of pre is hot and cold. Sometimes show her fighting and sometimes pathetically weak.

Same for anurag, showed him a fighter in the Naveen track and weak in komo track just to force the new character in.

So not sure what the characters of each actor is??

But one thing I baffled about is how people are not able to separate character from the actor.

In spite of komo being so evil, fans wanted her to be together with anu.

Same goes for bajaj, no back up story justifies ruining the life of a girl who had no role to play in your story, especially who is pregnant. You need to be cruel and cold blooded. And if you are capable of doing that once, you can do it again under whatever justification. So not sure how their is an audience for seeing this new couple together. That means, the audience is either new to the story or could not relate to the love story of anupre and were just waiting for the new character based on S1.

In anycase, no woman deserves a man like bajaj in her life.

I am shaking my head whenever I read the update. They have butchered the story.

Very well said👏 To the point without any mocking or bashing of the characters and fandoms

In India where marriage is a sacred institution, in the name of entertainment subliminal messages reach audiences that marriage is not so sacred, you can change partners like clothes any time you want no big deal.

Western tv shows have season based and fixed episode format right? I have not heard of a single show which that has run for years at a stretch. Are there any?

I agree with everything you said about white washing the character in your other post. That is exactly the reason why I could never warm up to RB and Prejaj in s1. I stopped watching the show after that and from what I read here he never paid for the sins he committed. Instead he got a good life with his wife and children. Anurag made a big mistake...he might have been a spineless person..sissy..dumb but did he ever hurt anybody intentionally? Does being stupid make him undeserving of a second chance as opposed to RB who actually destroyed an innocent couple’s life and their dreams together for his own selfish reason?

I brought s1 here because s2 too seems to be going in that direction.

Best to not watch then😔

I still wonder why evil, villains are so popular. What does it say about us as a society that tunes in to watch it over and again.

There are novella series that run for just 6 months in Latin countries. The show ha s no filler episodes it’s high intense drama and curtains down after that.

General Hospital that’s still on that began in 1963.

Yeah best to stay away if the story goes that way

Hate stories usually work with the audience. Rich, arrogant, chauvinistic guy having a change of heart after falling in love with the bubbly girl with a heart of gold... a format that has been done to death on itv😆
