When i visit the hastag, Asad Ahmed Khan and Zoya Faruqi come to my mind ( Qubool Hai). She had a wish list or conditions regarding her Dinchak Shayaris. Asad had to say Wah Wah Zoya Wah Wah.

Similar situation, any particular scene or Abir touching Mishti, whatever it is always Wah Wah Shaheer Wah Wah.

Rhea is also praised but those tweets are lost.

Pls don't get me wrong. I saw few episodes of Mahabharat today. A particular episode when Arjun goes in the night to avenge his son Abhimanyu's is outstanding death. The anger, revenge, frustration, guilt, anxiety, what emotions. Some scenes are worthy of all the television awards. I literally stood up. And what was Shaheer's age 28 -30. To get into the skin of a father who has lost his son in front of his eyes is amazing. Considering the fact that he may or may not have any parenting skills. Withstanding the loss of your own flesh and blood. What can I say after working with kids for so many years and meeting parents who do not even care. The scenes are so very raw and like his face comes in front of my eyes.

If his fans go on and on about such kind of eps, ill be glad to join but simple scenes where appreciation leads to obsession puts me off.

Ya a show needs to be treated like a show.

Haha. You are right. But fans will be fans though. One side you have fans who hype everything their favorite does and other side you have haters who bash everything the actor does. There is no middle ground. This actually applies to every fandom on social media (TV or Bollywood). I only check those accounts which analyze the show and the characters once am done watching the episode 😆

Oh MB was fantastic. The whole cast was wonderful and apart from Shaheer, I absolutely loved Pooja and SRJ :)

I don't mind off screen moments but the problem is it eventually leads to shipping, obsession, controversies and bashing. This cycle is inevitable because fans stop differentiating between reel and real. So am actually happy that we don't get any offscreen bits. We can focus on Abir-Mishti and once the show ends/they lose their appeal, we can move on.

Another reason to like this fandom- I really like how most members are having a peaceful discussion here so far without getting personal :)

It's not just about him ya.....I did the mistake of shipping, off screen observations in my previous shows...not shaheers shows...but shows like Biddai, Geet, DMG etc.....loads of off-screen dramas were involved in these shows...hence safe to be out is what I feel now😁

I agree with many here that yrhpk is doing well in all fronts without a hype. Except for Roopal Patel and Shaheer Sheikh , the cast is relatively newer(except maheswaris but they don’t have much screen space) and the show’s investment doesn’t seem huge in terms of star cast. Many other shows have heavy duty investments ( all star cast including supporting and heavily paid) and need to be visible all the time so get their returns. The only problem I have is with hotstar( in US)the show was in ‘what’s new’ on home page but now is no where. The only way to get to the show is either search or visit channel star plus home, where I usually find it 3rd. So the number clicks to get to this show is not only higher than current shows, but some old shows too. As I dedicated viewer, I have it on my watchlist( the only show I watch and have subscribe premium membership for) and that’s how I can easily navigate. But a new hotstar member will see this show nowhere which is unfair. For instance, my friend watches another popular show on SP on hotstar and feeling too done with it , I suggested her yrhpk, and she was absolutely unaware of it. These simple ways of promotions won’t hurt them but they aren’t even doing that.

Red - it's not about off screen drama but the show's pace & story is actually boring and predictable minus those fun & happy moments of 4 ... Even it's clearly see after marriage this show will turn Part-2 of parent show.. Rajan has never nothing new to serve us even they did too much struggle during "courtship" track and fans were so unhappy too and did only Cry & Cry during courtship track They're still shouting that this is "Stereotype Breaking" show but the same fans were so much unhappy & frustrated with courtship drama.. Isn't it ? They were constantly complaining and cribbing.. Fans are only happy and praising when they get good Mishbir and Abir scenes with happy moments otherwise show's plot & story is completely mehhh 😞

I got away after posting this. I'm so sorry to not able to reply to all so will say this.

My frustration bundled up continous things with the show

1.) I can take no promo but taking away the repeat slots was crossing the line for me😆 because last week I couldn't get any rewatch done.

2.) I for one side with those. I dont want to get into their personal lives, I can take less interviews too if that is what the cast and crew wishes to be.

3.) if RS is bothered the show getting to be in a bad limelight. I get that too considering every other show cast members are being replaced.

4.) I agree in the hotstar itself , I know many people who have taken subscription doesn't know about the show because it doesn't show in the popular category. It begs the question do they or do they not want more viewers?

THU THU THU nazar na lage apne program ko. I like to think they are mature people. Just to conclude dont take away my repeat slots and I'm good😆😆

Clearly, there are some people on this forum who has a problem with fans praising Shaheer. I try to avoid such posts but when his fans gets constantly bashed for making appreciation posts on him, i dont find any logic in that. And its very upsetting that we get criticised for this lame reason. This is not the first time you have mentioned this Mahi,You have time and again mentioned Shaheer fans, So i have tried to find the answers to your list of queries.

-If you find them annoying, why are you even reading them? There is a mute button on twitter. I will proudly say out loud that Im a fangirl of Shaheer. As long as our fangirling is doing no harm to others, why should anyone even have a problem with it? There are plently of meaningful tweets. There are plenty of Shaheer fans posts praising Ritvik too. Have a read.

- We dont get any promo, repeat telecast, phs doesnt hype our show. So If his fans are doing the job of the channel and are taking tremendous amount of responsibility on their shoulder by hyping the show on evey social media, why should anyone have an objection? Isnt that how the show trends of social media?

- Courtship track was slow but during that period many imporstant social issues topic were raised. And as u mentioned Many fans cried during that track, we were not upset with the track itself but with the pace of the track. I think courtship track was the best thing that has happened to the show. No show has taken this risk as they know these kinds of concept wont be accepted easily. This show is stereotype breaking wether someone agrees or not. We live in a world where outerbeauty is considered as everything. I have read many comments on social media about Mishtis glasses and how they want her to get rid of it. Despite all that, makers have still decided to keep her glasses look and gave out an important message through lasik eye surgery track.

-Today, we see many ML who are very aggressive and controlling towards FL but fans go gaga over them. Amongst all that chaos, we have Abir, who tells you how a woman should be respected, who doesnt follow the wrong doing of his mother blindly.

- At the end of the day, its a lovestory between Mishti and Abir. And many people watch the show for their lovestory. We have been waitingnfodntheir story to start since past 3 months. So are we not allowed to be Happy if we see progression in their story? Are we not allowed to analyse their every minute detail as we love them very much. His fans has never stopped others from doing the same. Infact it would be so much better if his costars fans would start to be active on social media, it would take off some load of tweeting everyday bczz of whom the show has been trending no1 since long time. I am really finding it difficult to understand why every week this topic is brought up? You dont like it dont watch it. It is As simple as that.

We've discussed this at length how promotions work and all but i'll say this it is crappy for us fans. Like i dont want to watch pishachini whole day every week.

Please ignore this post if it is too much for you. I dont mean to ruin anyone's weekends. I'll go sulk alone now that i dont know what to do in these 2 hours now.😭😭

I agree with you...the treatment thi shows receives from Star is very unfair even though it is the one if the few shows that have remained consistent and infact slowly and steadily gaining more fans by the minute...Hope the realize the error of their ways.....

Also ekta shows are known to receive this kind of partiality every now and then
