The show has a good fanbase on twitter. I have been on twitter for a while and some amazing discussions happen on the show there. It has positive buzz and the show and couple get a lot of appreciation. In terms of TRP, it is in top 3 on Star Plus, in top 10 right now, slot leader since inception despite facing competition from a well established show on Zee and an Ekta soap from Colors. And the TRP has been increasing gradually over a period. I highly doubt they have thought about a leap or the duration of the show so far. Everything depends on the TRP in the long run. Right now, I think the show is doing pretty well so far both in terms of TRP and fanbase with potential to grow from here once the love story starts. Of course no one can predict the future especially when it comes to Hindi soap.

The fan base from the beginning is more or less Shaheer's fans who like Rhea too. The positivity coexists there as Abir and Mishti are keep intact. Kaveri is new and Ritvik's previous show fd prefer to be silent or aren't watching him at all. Rhea has a invisible cloak around her. Therefore apart from Shaheer and his FD nothing worthwhile. A general observation from a neutral fan, i don't feel the need to tweet. There are many episodes where pace has gone slow but its overlooked on twitter, not here. These days episodes are decent enough. Although still insist that the plot is quite simple.

I agree with you everything depends on trps and for ratings, repeat telecast or a promo once in a month is reqd ? TV audiences may not go online to check about YRHPK.

Even the cast is pretty cut off from SNS. From Shaheer's side, he may like the serenity, peace and calm online and offline too as his previous shows had lot of SM attention. At the same time I don't care a damn attitude from all sides is so obvious.

from my side I like finite series without abrupt endings. So let's see.

Hi :) Yes the fan base comprises of Shaheer fans but there are many new fans too who love Abir-Mishti and have joined the fandom in the past month. And though most love Shaheer, there is a lot of praise for Rhea, Ritwik and even Kaveri. I can post a few twitter IDs for you who have amazing discussions on the show and the characters if you are interested but am not sure how to post links since am new to India Forums :(

I definitely think the show is good so far esp. when you compare it to the shows topping the charts. It is a simple show with a simple love story so far and I like it that way. And am glad it is getting decent TRPs so far otherwise the writers would have been forced to completely change the story and add a lot of unnecessary drama. Am happy with the peaceful fandom too. There is no offscreen discussion like members have already mentioned in this thread and it is better that way. Once there is controversy and shipping, the focus is more on the shipping and friendship of actors off screen rather than the story and characters which is what should matter to us at the end of the day :)

Out of all the shows, they gave it to KZK? Slow claps! I don't mean to be rude but let's just admit it, that show promotes things that I can't even accept. 🤢

It is doing decent on TRP chart expect 1 week and may getting returns what they invested but not definitely big success and returns. Good thing is, it made in top 10. However, all weekend shows are struggling in TRP chart and there is obvious and geninue reason is world cup, India is playing extremely well/ top contender now and India's major matches are weekend. The tournament will enter last phase shortly and people will switch to cricket as long as India is playing.

SP India is extremely happy with this outcome as they bought rights with huge money and getting with huge profit, thanks to team India. I too wish India will repeat 83/2011 glory and confident of it.

But coming to this serial, if PH/channel is happy with decent success then it is already successful but considering two big actors like ShaHeer and KOkila then expectations are probably high with their huge successful previous serials. It will definitely run 1 to 1.5 years as it is following KCL pattern when rating is concerned. Let's enjoy as long it is in air and if they want to run years to come then they need to re think on strategies in all front.

I've a different definition on "Popularity" or "Fame".. I believe when something or someone getting popular or fame then there must be increasing more or equal "Negativity" along with "Positivity".. If there's no Negativity/war/fight/jealousy/insecurity then it means the thing or person isn't on the competition or just running on the empty field without any compititor YRHPK situation is exactly same.. Everywhere too much peace, clam, only plain discussion, no fight between any fandom, everything is too much good which i'm seeing first time in any drama in my entire ITV experience Go & check Rajan Shahi's insta handle who constantly post pics with Mohshin & Shivangi for their all personal stuff and work too like Shivangi bought new car so RS post pic with congratulate but he didn't give any Congratulations post for Yrhpk came on top 10 which is really weird.. Isn't it ????

@mahi- That is an interesting take. My observation though is that most shows have peaceful fandoms during the first hundred odd episodes especially if the show does not have multiple popular actors. The issues start only when there is off screen rivalry or shipping or multiple big fandoms involved. What I have noticed on twitter is that no one in the fandom discusses Shaheer, Rhea, Rithwik or Kaveri in their off screen capacity beyond a point. And the few Ritwik fans I have seen are really sweet. They only focus on hyping Ritwik and a lot of Shaheer fans also reciprocate by praising Ritwik whenever he does well on the show. I don't see either fandom pulling down the other which is a plus :) Also there is no conflict with the parent show. Whenever someone from the parent show criticizes our show, there are quite a few from that fandom who reprimand that fan. Similarly, most YRHP fans are very supportive of the parent show and never pull it down to praise their favorites. Which helps in avoiding conflict. It also helps that our show is not an overtly hyped hugely expensive show with excessive promos. When a show is excessively favored by the channel, it invites hate from other fandoms. Our situation is the opposite. We don't get promos at all😆 Also since Shaheer has done multiple shows, he has quite a few dedicated haters who have accounts created just to bash him every single day and just randomly criticize the show for the sake of it. But most of the show fans ignore these comments and focus on discussing and praising it instead. I guess all this contributes to the peace which is good IMO.

About RS, he is extremely close to Mohsin and Shivangi. The parent show was on the verge of shutting down due to low TRP and issues with the previous leads but these two gave it a new lease of life and its been running successfully for years now so its not surprising that he adores them. Not sure why he does not post for our show but maybe he will once this show completes 100 episodes.

Now that I have written an essay and discussed why the fandom is peaceful, I hope we have not jinxed it and the peace continues 😆
