There is a serial running on television now, "Radhakrishna".
In it, Krishna's age has been described as 16 years, which is not correct.
While the truth is that, Lord Krishna was only brought to Mathura by Akur, at the age of 11 years and 55 days.
The reality is that, after the age of 11 years and 55 days, the life of Lord Shri Krishna has always been changed forever. All his life passed away in the escape, conflict, war and destruction.
The TV serials just make up the make-up juice, so that the episodes made by them earn much money.
Sri Krishna did all that he had done with Sridharha and Gopis in Brajbhoomi, all that was done in childhood.
At the age of 6, he was saved at the age of 6 years, at the age of 5 years, he was disfigured by unaware and deceased Brahma ji, 6 years and 6 months old, he had lost his life, at the age of 7, Maharas Lila and his Kanishka finger on Govardhan Leela to raise the mountain, this was done in the early childhood, such as Machan Chahal Leela, Kaliya Nag Daman Leela, Davnal Leela etc.
The complete break of the last leela of Gokul, Birsana, Nandgaon and Vrindavan of Lord Shri Krishna was reduced to 11 years and 54 days, because at the age of 11 years and 55 days, they went to Mathura!

This serial - Radha Krishna is committing a profound sacrilege while hurting the sentiments of myriad devotees. Sri Radha is depicted as an ordinary person full of all kinds of jaundiced qualities. Yet, Hers was an Extraordinary Appearance.
Perhaps the intent of the producers of this show may have been to teach some lessons in values to the general populace, BUT why use Sri Radha as a medium to do so? She is a Goddess adored by millions and Her Pristine Personality is illustrated in the vilest manner in this serial. Sentiments are being hurt.
Sri Radha was...is the eternal epitome of devotion. In essence, Sri Krsna desired to know what is Bhakti...thus, the essence of His Heart took an Incarnation as Radha. They are One. Sri Radha's Advent on earth is the Advent of the Supreme Divine Mother of the Universe, She manifested with and exhibited exemplary attributes. The serial presents an extremely offensive portrayal of Sri Radha, brimming her with negative qualities, which is absolutely misleading the public.
This serial is so far away from the truth. The disclaimer should be written in Bold letters that the storyline is a FIGMENT OF THE writer's IMAGINATION. Sri Krsna left Brindavan at the age of 11 Years and Sri Radha deserves better appeal than what she is represented as in this serial.
And, Shivaratri episode shows a full moon...when this most auspicious night immediately precedes Amavasya!!!

It is my humble prayer that may better sense prevail asap and this issue which is quite sensitive is dealt with in an appropriately ethical and harmonious manner.

Suta , many are wishing for the end of this serial. These are only a part of the public disapproval.

Gayatri, there are many who are expressing their displeasure through different internet portals. If you know the actual story, if you love your Radha , if you believe that Krishna is a God, then the trouble starts. If anyone taking it as a mere fiction[ which is not possible for me and many such sensitive souls!] then it will be a good serial for them. You watched it with a pure heart and with a good sense of expectation so why you?? Tujhe nahin lagega. Those people will loose their sleep eventually who have written this maha gatha and which have produced this and showcased this, that is the channel guys mainly.
