Is Ek Din a magic realism romance?
I liked it but didn't love. I was looking for original story but otherwise it was good
Kids enjoyed thoroughly though. Most of the theater was filled with kids only.. And they were rofling
it was pathetic...a black spot on the name of creativity and remake - thank god its proven that animated originals shall always be the best no matter how much the current generation keeps nagging about the best vfx and technology available.

Thats my issue too.. They changed the story line.. Could be easily passed off as a new film
Lion king is looking frame to frame copy though so i am hopeful they won't twist it
I think all these live action versions of old Disney classics SUCK đ€ą The only one I liked was jungle book. BatB was bad! And Emma Watson cant sing đ„±
Haven't watched Aladdin but not impressed at all from the promos. Lion King looks even worse with that unimpressive voice acting- let's be real no one can replace James Earl Jones or Jeremy Irons..EVER.đ”
And on tops, live action can never look as beautiful as animation can- compare BATB ballroom scenes and the difference is jarring!
I haven't watched it yet. I didn't like the trailer nor do I like the leads. I don't think they do any justice to Ali and Jasmine as per the trailer. I have been avoiding it
I'm looking forward to The Lion King now.
I loved/enjoyed it a lot.
When the trailer came out I wasnt impressed at all. And the negativity surrounding Will Smithâs Genie also added to my disinterest.
But I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the movie. Yes, nothing can beat the original but this was fun. Surprisingly, Smithâs genie was the best part of it. He jazzes up the screen the moment he is on.
The slight change to Jasmineâs story arc is understandable. With changing times some story arcs need to be modified a little. Disney always gets flak for how itâs princesses âonly want loveâ and are âweakâ (though itâs a whole another debate). Given the times now, I welcome small changes like this coz of the target audience (mainly kids/teens - esp little girls). Naomi Scottâs Speechless was a complete surprise. girl can sing! (W/o autotune)
Overall it was fun movie.
It was amazing and I loved the change they made to Jasmine's character. Naomi did a wonderful job and Will Smith was surprisingly good.
Loved it. I don't know much about alladin cartoons but i loved the movie.
I loved it! I enjoy Disney movies. They give you an escape from reality. Waiting for Lion King now.
