Second episode. Dad forces Sadia to marry him and the mother tells him to marry her because its not Sadia's fault this happened. Umair only goes through with it because he learns a few minutes later that his mom has cancer and doesn't want to fight her about the issue.

@Sammi, its really just a meh kinda watch. I do forward through Junaid's scenes because its just him going berserk because he saw Sadia. Never really liked Ayeza's acting before and this isn't' doing anything to change it. Saadia and Umair are the only interesting leads with Umair's mother being the best character. I really dislike that plot point you mentioned. Very icky.

I really don't get the reason why there's starting to be a slight focus on Umair's sister's future though? This show has enough sideplots to warrant another tbh.

I agree it's mostly. But it's vaguely entertaining especially since you can speed watch it (mostly forwarding Junaid too lol). The most recent batch of ARY dramas for example are too heavy for me to enjoy. (Also too much Saboor Aly lol). Umair and Sadia are definitely the interesting part of the plot and I hope they let Umair's mother live because she's brilliant. The way Umair changes personalities when he's with his mother and sister compared to when he's around Sadia is very interesting. I'm generally very conflicted about the Umair/Saadia relationship because I'd like them to be happy together even with Zubi/Ahmer trying their best at punishing Sadia, but then there's the whole baby disaster. Have we ever had a drama with a wife waving DNA test results at her husband? Is that a thing that can be done in Pakistani dramas? I'm also not a great fan of Sadia forgiving Umair.

I don't mind Umair's sister having a plot. But to a point lol. I'm not overly interested in Sadia's nand's troubles with her own nand. Too many nands. Especially with Zubi being who she is.

i thought aiza and muneeb were paired opp each other here...thats what was initally mentioned...now i have a feeling in the end when the truth comes out Sadia will do halala with Ahmer and Zubi will get Umair :/

Hello everyone. I love watching Yaariyan. The main attraction was the ost. It is so addictive even though it is really misleading. Pakistani serial osts dont really tend to be so inaccurate but here the ost is really different to the actual story.

I am really looking forward to Umair and Sadia's love story but I don't know if the makers will be able to do justice. I am not really interested in Zubi and Ahmer's story but I know for sure they will get a lot of focus after their marriage bcoz ayeza is a more popular face than moomal and junaid is also very experienced and known.

I hope in the coming episodes the story progresses. The initial 6-7 episodes were fast paced but the last few have been very slow.

Umair has no feelings for Sadia at all. I don't know how will he ever fall in love with her. The only reason I can think of is that he might get to know that he is the father of Sadia's child which may make him feel guilty.

If anyone has noticed in the ost, there is a part where Sadia falls on Ahmer during the marriage preparations and Umair gets angry/jealous. I don't know if that will ever be shown bcoz the ost is different from the story but I would love to see Umair get jealous of Ahmer and Sadia.

Once Ahmer gets to know the truth, he will definitely feel guilty and would get inclined towards Sadia again.

Sorry, I meant sister's future SIL 😆 I don't mind the sister getting a plot but who cares about that nand and her issues lol? I like his sister too. She stands up for her brother and I can't blame her for disliking Sadia given that she doesn't know the full story.

But yeah, this could all have been avoided if Sadia, y'know, got a DNA test done? And why does he say she met Ahmer when the show never showed it? And was Umair ever in love with her or just using her? I do feel the original pairs are going to end up together and the baby isn't gonna make it :/ Which would be lame.

At the end of the day, it's just a time-pass drama but this show does have its LOL moments. Like Ahmer going Hulk and destroying his house LOL because he saw Sadia.

I can't get the ost out of my head. It's so underrated but so addictive.

The sister Sumbul played by Maryam Nafees recently had a post on Instagram saying that it was the end of Sumbul. I dont know what she meant. Did she mean that her character will die in the show, or has her track ended. It was very misleading.

I thought the wedding scene was unlikely, but now that apparently they're actually inviting Sadia and Umair to the wedding there might be a scene that's similar. The ost hasn't taken scenes directly from the drama the way they usually do but there are some similarities between a couple of scenes in both. Altho at the time of the wedding if Umair is jealous it's probably over Zubi for now.

I hope this isn't a new trend with osts. They tried something similar for Mere Mohsin.
