I loved how Daneen put Areesh in his place in that phone convo! She put her everything at stake and this is what she gets? What did she have to begin with? Love and loyalty, anyway! That guy's seriously spineless! "Kyunke ab tum mujhe achi lagne lagi ho", my foot!

I don't even know what to say about Izzal anymore..they are in their worlds for now..but at least Izza has it in her to stand up for what's right..

I think this drama became more interesting now. it has a message too. that in our society only women are being judged for extramarital affairs, women have to bear with unloving husband because talaaq isn't allowed in some families. Izza is a free spirit, she has morals, she is against Areesh and Daneen's love yet she stands for her cousin, because she cares for her. She faced Areesh not because she wants him to unit with Daneen, but because she wants him to take the responsibility of what he did, after all, he encouraged her to ask for divorce.

On the other hand Altamash as a mashriqi man thinks low of Daneen for asking for her rights, She fell in love and asked for divorce, her husband is a harraser too, so what is wrong with this? yet, he is unable to feel for anyone, because his sister is in the middle of all this, I can't blame him though, but why should he threaten Izza about her job! I loved Izza's reply. 👍🏼

Naimal Khawar stole the show. And I am team Izza now. Ania is trying to be fair, now that she got a hold of Areesh, which isn't convincing at all. maybe she'll lose her life in a misscarage. Anyway, Areesh proved that he is useless . I wonder why did Daneen trust him again!

I can't agree with everything you've said, awida! Women are put at shame for everything and men can go around doing as they please..be it two-timing women (Areesh) or holding their huge egos above their heads and treating people how they want (Altamash)..or even, not giving their women their fair basic rights (Saif, SIkandar)..and to top it all, even Daneen's father gave up on her? I was SO shocked! I didn't see that coming and had this part of me saying that oh this man will stand up for her because she was his beloved laadli or something, but ehhh, I was WRONG.

Like, is there any man left in this show who hasn't been wrong?

I also wonder, how could Daneen trust him again? I guess she was seriously vulnerable at those times and she sorta went in those weak moments..not cool..turned out to be even a bigger trouble for the poor girl.. :(

All those useless men in one drama! can you imagine how many of them in our society!☢️

Yes. Azzam.. Izza's father! 😆

Daneen is only following her heart. but now she should use her brains which I doubt.😕

Ok I don't know if I'm the only one who does NOT like Areesh-Daneen paring and is not rooting for them to get back together. 🙄

First of all, I don't like Shehzad at all and he does not look good with Hania. Terrible miscast the guy is. They should've chosen someone who actually has good chemistry with Hania so that we could root for these two to get back together.

Also, it doesn't help that Areesh has a disgusting character 🙄🙄🙄 I get irritated every time he comes on screen. Daneen is childish and naive and can't realise how much of an a** this guy is.

I do not want them to get back together. I want Daneen to find someone else after she separates from Saif (if that does happen). It will be interesting to watch what happens next like will Saif change or not?

The only decent pairing in this show is Izza-Altamash. These two have chemistry and an interesting dynamic unlike Areesh-Daneen. Though the guy playing Altamash is a really bad actor 😅

Even though everyone is feeling bad for Daneen (including me) we can't deny that she brought this upon herself because of her immaturity. Her father had repeatedly refused her decision to marry Saif but she still insisted on marrying him.

I hope she finds a way out of this or Saif changes or something but the drama does highlight the need to be mature about decisions like marriage and listening to your parents advice.

I'm not entirely surprised by Daneen's father's actions tbh. This family has a tendency to behave like this. If you ignore how irrational Nazia is now (and a lot of that can probably be blamed on what happened in her past), the way she was abandoned was not fair. She didn't want to marry Ghazanfar's brother. That was it mainly. She wasn't responsible for what he did after that and how everyone else reacted. And I think while she's still blaming Ghazanfar and dadi for how she was treated, her father and brother had the choice to stand by her which they didn't.

In men who aren't awful, I don't like him particularly but Kabir hasn't been that bad. Of course the characters in this drama change every week so I may regret saying something good about him.

I don't think Saif is going to change, the way he talks/behaves with women is disgusting. He's done it twice to Izza now and once to Ania and I doubt he actually cared about his first wife either. She was probably just convenient for him.

@Bold Not just this family but a LOT of conservative and reputed families behave this way. I've personally seen this many times so this is not surprising for me, I can assure you it's pretty common. I think her father was just too embarassed by the fact that his daughter is cheating on her husband.

The way Daneen's father behaved was definitely wrong but I think the biggest wrong here was done by Daneen herself. How could you marry a person your father knows is not a good match for you? He repeatedly warned her about the consequences of her decision but she refused to budge.

She knew a divorce was not possible in her family before she married Saif so how can she demand one now and hope to get it as well? She knew exactly what she had signed up for when she married Saif and I don't blame him either because he had already warned her about the consequences of the marriage. It was Daneen who approached Saif and insisted on marrying him not the other way around. Daneen just dug her own grave because of her immaturity and is paying the price now.

If Saif isn't going to change, then I have no idea what's gonna happen. Areesh is not in the equation anymore and I don't want him to be either 🙄🙄 I really hope Daneen finds someone really nice.

That's a very good point. I'd forgotten the 'there are no talaqs in this family' angle. The family in Anaa is quite different from the typical conservative families on TV so I tend to forget that detail about them.

You're right that ultimately the marriage was Daneen's idea in her attempt to challenge Ghazanfar. And her dad was against it and was quite vocal about it. In some ways it was like the Ania/Altamash situation where he kept telling her not to marry Areesh. I don't know if it's unrealistic of me to wonder if Altamash and Daneen's dad could have tried harder and actually stopped both girls from their stupid marriages?

I think it's a credit to Hania that even though we know what Daneen is doing wrong you can't help liking her and feeling sympathetic and hoping that it works out for her. She needs to stop fighting for Areesh when the man leaves her as soon as it gets the slightest bit uncomfortable for him. I'm hoping that Daneen can live a life on her own terms in the end. Although with the way this is going I wouldn't be surprised if we end with Areesh and his two wives (meh).

@Bold The family is not just conservative but also has a certain reputation to uphold and connections to mantain. Hence, the "no Talaq" policy. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't allow Areesh to divorce Anya either.

Also, we have to realise that this is ultimately a show not reality lol. In reality, no father would've allowed Daneen to marry a guy like Saif with no rhyme or reason. If she loved him and was adamant on marrying him, the father would've still allowed but Daneen's reasons were just ridiculous and no parent would've given their consent to such a union.

With regards to Altamash, he gave his consent because his sister loved Areesh and was adamant upon marrying him. At least Anya had a valid reason for marrying Areesh unlike Daneen.

I definitely agree that it's because of Hania, her acting, her endearing personality that we're all sympathizing with her. I also definitely don't think a 2 wife thing is possible here. However much Daneen may love Areesh she won't marry a guy who's having a baby with another girl. Daneen clearly said it "believe me you have already left me". She knows things have changed now.

I think people would not like such a union either. As it is people are disgusted with Areesh's character.

I also want Daneen to lead an indepednant life but I would also like her to find someone who actually loves her back as much as she loved Areesh. She's feeling very unloved and unwanted at this point.
