After TRAI implementation, TRPs were fallen expect EKs Bhagyas and most of my friends including me stopped subscribing all channels, most of them hooked on Netflix. The TRPs of SP from 2 weeks fallen drastically. SP may not getting returns what was expected so they may be exploring all other platforms to sustain their returns and promoting VIP subscription through their online popular actors.

Cable tv operators are now offering all channels between 380 to 400

Netflix premium is 800 per month .

Tv is still cheap. World cup fever. Though rains are coming in between

It is just to promote old and new Bajaj

Hostages is just like a film . Not a small budget webseries.

Shivangi Or for that matter Zain, both are popular online. Why selected few.

Ratings fall SP will bring in new shows. Standard mantra of all gecs.

Not sure about cable operators as most of here use HD so definitely DTH, Netflix offers variety of good contents so people are moving on.

Agreed, instead of improving contents, they just off air less trp performing serials with new one. Colors become joke in this matter.

My comments before this show actually came used to be

Kon dekh raha ajkal tv open kr ke tbh.(irony isn't lost on me)

Urban areas me definitely people are moving on. people like my parents/aged people still prefer 21 or 42 inch screen in comparison to mobile screen

It also is ki daily soap dikhana is getting tough with regular high trps. It simply isn't possible

Just like TV, YRHPK gets a stepchild treatment on Hotstar as well...
Not sure if Hotstar interface and profile is different based on the country, but in the US what I have noticed is that unless you are really looking for YRHPK, it is very easy to miss it. It is not listed in the Popular or Trending shows categories which are shown at the top of the page. You have to scroll down some to the New Shows category (yes, it's still considered a new show!) and then you have to scroll to the right and then you can spot it. So it is possible for a lot of people on Hotstar to not even know about the show yet...

On the other hand Mata's 2 wives soon to turn into 2 husbands dream epic love saga is very hard to miss... it's in your face... everywhere!

The same situation is in UK. My friend in Ireland was under the impression that after Best of Luck Nikki, Shaheer is in Indonesia. That's a bit extreme and this gal has hotstar. i casually spoke about him then she started to search YRHPK. Its practically absent there.

Kzk has got sponsors. It is obvious which show has more online views or those corporates have good relationship with a certain PH.

The main problem is the plot being too simple and basic. UK crowd still hangs to YHM, tv audience overseas too resemble indians.

You are highly clouded by your own situation. People like you and me have the luxury of great internet speeds. This is not true for majority of Hindi TV viewers. Netflix is nothing compared to TV in India.

You must be joking here, because YHM’s only plot for the last 6 months has been Aliya’s never ending wedding attempts. First that girl got married to Rohan, then divorced, then fell in love with him and then Adi’s doppelganger enters and she goes into delusion. Runs back to “Adi”. Learns he is Yug after 2-3 months. Falls for Yug. Tries to marry him twice. Both attempts failed. Rubbish! Pata nahi how many more times she will get married. After all this, she is still unmarried on the show as of now! 🤦‍♂️

Once a show grows on to the audience, they will watch it no matter what.

Hotstar is a subsidiary of STAR. They already have data for number of subscriptions and no. of viewers for every single video on their platform. Not just Hindi TV shows. That is how they attract advertisements for the unpaid versions.
