Bharat Second Saturday Early Estimate

Bharat showed a good jump on Saturday as collections went up around 50% and it collected 5.75 crore nett as per early estimates. The film is maintaining pretty well in Delhi / UP and East Punjab while other circuits have a bigger drop compared to the last weekend.

The growth on Saturday has come but Sunday will be a different story due to the match and the match could make the difference between a respectable second week and a low one especially compared to the first week collections.

The film has turned out to be pretty much a multiplex film after the Eid period ended.

#Bharat overseas extended opening week: $8.60 Million (60.05 cr). Will end it's international run in phase 1 of release around $10.50 Million (Rs 73.32 cr) mark. It will be the 7th highest grosser of @BeingSalmanKhan overseas after #BB, #Sultan, #TZH, #PRDP, #Race3 and #Kick.

Bharat Has Good Growth On Second Saturday

Bharat is doing reasonable business in the second weekend as it collected 6 crore nett apprx on Saturday with good growth of 50% on Saturday. The first two days of the second week suggest a 27-28 crore nett second week but the cricket may get in the way of that especially on Sunday which could be hit badly. The business in eleven days is 178 crore nett plus.

The should film should be doing at least 8 crore nett on Sunday for a 18 crore nett second weekend but it remains to be seen where the numbers land up on Sunday. The film is doing best business in Delhi / UP which is at 40 crore nett plus in eleven days. Mumbai has hit 50 crore nett but it should be doing better. The Delhi / UP ratio was 23% in the extended first week while Mumbai was just 28.50% which is low.

If we compare the business to Uri - The Surgical strike which is the top grosser of the year then it is likely to match or cross it in all circuits barring Mumbai and South but the gap will be a huge 50-55 crore nett in these two markets. The collections of Bharat till date are as follow

Week One - 1,68,16,00,000

Friday - 4,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 6,00,00,000 apprx

Second Weekend - 10,00,00,000 apprx (2 days)

TOTAL - 1,78,16,00,000 apprx

Today 6 plus minimum to get ,200 otherwise out of reach

Salman Khan’s film becomes flop with 200Cr box office, not because of loss or profit, but only because of his stardom. Because he is still the biggest super star in India. So his film must do 400-500Cr box office irrespective of star cast and budget.
