PART 62

She was both nervous and excited. This was something she was doing forthe first time. It was always Armaan who made her feel special all the time. Nowit was her turn and she wanted it to be perfect. Thank God Armaan slept throughall her planning.

She had sneaked out of the room while Armaan was asleep. It was so muchfun. It felt like she was reliving her childhood. Like going behind her parentsback and playing pranks on Anjie di.

She met with the hotel staff and requested to use their terrace for aspecial date with her husband. They were so sweet and agreed immediately. Shegave them the instructions and what was needed to be done. She just prayed andhoped that they would make the arrangements.

After that she came back to the room to sleep again. When she woke Armaanwas missing. She picked up her phone to call him only to find a message fromhim. It said that he was going out for some work and that he would meet her onthe terrace. She decided to get ready.

She took out the black anarkali that Muskaan and Rahul had gifted her.After taking a quick shower she put on the dress. She put on some eyeliner andlip gloss and bangles. And she was ready to go.

Here she was waiting for her husband to show up. It had been more than 10minutes since she had called him. He didn’t even bother to answer her call. Shehad even checked the arrangements and they were perfect.

A table with two chairs was placed in the center. The table was coveredwith a white cloth and a vase with baby pink roses was placed in the center.Fairy lights hung on the railings. It was simple but it looked beautiful. Shewas very pleased with the arrangements. She had also asked them for a musicplayer so that they could dance. And she had specially asked only one person tobe on the terrace who could tend to them.

Now this is too much. She called him again but still didn’t answer thecall. What is wrong with this man? She was already nervous and he wasn’t evenanswering the calls. She called him again. She prayed that he answered it.

She felt someone covering her eyes. She didn’t need brains to guess whowas it. “Hi beautiful,” He whispered. She was going to be mad at him but shesmiled. Damn. I can’t even stay mad at him for a few seconds.

“Kaha the tum? Kabse wait kar rahi thi tumhara,” She removed his handfrom her eyes. He turned her around and was blown away her simple beauty. Shewasn’t wearing any heavy make-up. It was just eyeliner and lip gloss and stillshe looked breathtaking. He stood there unable to look away from her.

Riddhima’s cheeks turned red seeing his reaction. But at the same time,she admired him. Damn. Her husband looked fine in white. He was wearing a whiteshirt and blue jeans. His usual, but he looked handsome. It was decided whitewas her favourite colour on him. Not that he looked bad in others but he lookedabsolutely breathtaking in white. She decided to tease him a little.

“Mr.Mallik you need a napkin,” She said pointing towards his lips. “Uh…Kya?” He asked still lost in her. “There is some drool over there” She pointedat his lips trying not to laugh. God! This was so much fun. The tables hadturned. She was taking badla of all the times that he had teased her.

“Haha very funny,” Armaan finally got it. So, she was teasing him.Interesting. “Toh phoch do,” He held her hand and pulled her close. Ab kaunsmart hai he thought. “Kya hua Mrs.Mallik?” He asked seeing her trying to lookavoid his gaze. “Bakwaas chodo aur andar chalo,” She tried to push him away.

“Voh toh jaenge. But let me first look at my beautiful girl,” He saidmoving a little away and looking at her. Riddhima blushed under his gaze. “Bohotbohot bohot khoobsurat lag rahi ho,” He smiled at her. “Thank you. Tum bhibohot aache lag rahe ho,” She whispered shyly.

He chuckled seeing her blushing. He loved how one second, she was teasinghim and the next blushing like a new bride. “I know, har roz dikhta hu,” Hewinked at her. “Armaan mai tumhe maarungi,” She said glaring at him. “Vohchodo. Yeh lo,” He gave her a bouquet of red roses and a chocolate which he hadbeen hiding behind him.

“Thank you so much,” She took them and pecked his cheek lightly.“Pleasure is all mine Mrs.Mallik,” He smiled seeing her getting all happy byhis simple gesture. “Oh, toh tum yeh lene ke liye gaye the. Par Armaan iski koijarurat nahi thi” She said caressing the roses. “Thik hai toh mai kisi aur kodeke aata hu. Lao do?” He made a move to take the bouquet and chocolate. “Jyadasmart banne ke koshish mar karo aur andar chalo,” She said and walked in.

She turned to look at him and waited eagerly to see his reaction. “So?”She asked expectantly. “So,” Armaan just shrugged his shoulders. He didn’t likeit? Is this too simple? Various thoughts were going through her mind. She wasabout burst into tears. “Thank you so much jaan,” He finally said after takinga good look around him.

Armaan turned to look at her and saw that she was almost in tears.“Riddhima kya hua?” He held her face. “Tumne kuch kaha kyu nahi? Mujhe laga tumhepasand nahi aaya,” She said. “Pagal. Tum mere liye kuch karogi aur voh mujhepasand nahi aaega aisa kabhi ho nahi sakta. Yeh… this is so beautiful. I loveyou,” He placed his forehead on hers. “I love you too Armaan,” She smiled.“Chalo,” She held his hand and they walked towards the table.

Riddhima pulled the chair for him to sit. “Thank you,” Armaan sat on thechair. Riddhima placed the bouquet and chocolate on the table and took her seatopposite to him. “So khaane mai kya hai? I’m starving,” Armaan asked. He wasone impatient man thought Riddhima. She clapped her hands twice and the foodwas brought to the table. Armaan’s expressions said that he was impressed.Riddhima winked at him and he smiled showing off his dimples.

“I see, sab mera favourite hai,” He opened the cloches that covered thefood. “Ab sirf baate hi karoge ki khaoge bhi ya nahi?” Riddhima served him theparatha and took one for herself too. Armaanbroke one piece and fed her. She also did the same. They sat there feeding eachother and chatting in between.

Riddhima clapped thrice this time and Armaan could hear faint music.Armaan looked on impressed. He’ll have to up his game for when he takes her ona date next time. Riddhima got up from her chair and walked towards him. “Shallwe Mr.Mallik?” She held her hand out for him to take. Armaan placed his hand inhers and let her pull him up. They walked a little away from the table. Armaanplaced his free hand around her waist and pulled her close. Riddhima placed herother hand around her neck.

“Thanks for this night. This is one of the beautiful nights of my life,”Armaan said. “You are welcome. Aur yeh last bar thank you bol rahe ho tum,”Riddhima replied. “As you say,” Armaan bowed his head.

“I must say, kaafi aache arrangements kiye the,” Armaan twirled her outand then back in. “I learned from the best,” She replied. Armaan chuckled. “Tohteacher ko kuch dena hota hai? Kya bolte hai use guru…” Armaan tried toremember the exact word. “Gurudakshina,” Riddhima helped. “Ha gurudakshina. Tohkya dengi aap?” Armaan nuzzled his nose with hers. “Kya chahiye tumhe?”Riddhima asked. “Hmm…” Armaan pretended to think. “Tum,” He said and kissed hernose. “Pagal,” Riddhima chuckled.

The song changed. She had heard this song before but couldn’t remember.Armaan turned her around. Her back touching his front. And he starting signing alongwith the song. She remembered the song. It was little things by One direction.He knew this song? She turned around and looked at him surprised. He held herface and sang to her.

By the end she had the biggest smile on her face. It was not herfavourite song but she liked it. And listening it in his voice made her fall inwith him all over again. She made a mental note to ask him to record it laterfor her. “That was lovely Armaan. Now you will sing me at least one song for meevery day,” She ordered. Armaan shook his head. “Tumhara har hukum sar aankhon parRiddhima,” Armaan agreed immediately. “You know I love you so much,” She smiledup at him. “And I love you too,” He pulled her in a hug.

Evening single scene was so well described...Two of my most favourite have to be a) when Armaan Everest and whispers “hi beautiful...” that was just amaze!

And secsnonly the dance when he pulls her close and starts singing...damn that was so so good!
