Oh, my .. someone pls make a topic: how many younger actors than Salman have movie over 170 cr? How many of the under 40 have more than one movie over that? hmm?

Ranveer has three (Padmavaat, Bajirao Mastani, Simmba).. RK has just one with Hirani (so that looks fluke bcause Hirani and Sanjay life is more than RK's influence,as RK never had more than 120 cr before).. Shahid has one Padmavaat ( but again fluke.. cause beside this he had only low earners like less than 100 cr!), Tiger has one..Baaghi (all rest are either flops or underperformers. SO 4 guys, from which only one has more than one 170+cr movie !!!!! ( Hrithik has a few but he is 40 +.., same with Ajay..)

The rest.. nothing over 130..#Varun hasn't got one (maybe Dilwale is near, at 145) I think...

Yet Vicky Kaushal got a 250 cr SOLO on his 9th movie without massive BB filmmaker Hirani or SanjayDutt life(even if he SHOULD be put as part of reason Sanju did weell)..or without SLB and help from RS and DP and huge historical subject...not on his 20th movie like RK or 30th movie like Shahid.

So that is 5 guys, from which 3 only have a one over 170 cr movie.. with |Ranveer and Vicky being the only two that have more than one (Vicky was secondary lead in Sanju but I think he deserves the credit)/

So let's see this 37 yr old RK , 37yr old Shahid, and the others give many 170 cr + movies ( and do 170 cr in ONE week many times, with many movies).. then we can talk.

Anyway.. it looks like Bharat will hit over 200 cr and be a hit.. so... haters can stick it.😊

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Bharat is galloping towards Rs 200-crore mark.

Salman Khan and Eid have become synonymous with each other. So this year when Salman decided to return to the big screen with Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat, all eyes were on this project. And going by the box office numbers, Salman and Ali have been able to recreate the magic with Bharat. After a fabulous opening, Bharat has been busy making more money with each passing day. After crossing the Rs 150-crore mark, the film is now galloping towards the Rs 200-crore club.

If Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif film earned Rs 167.60 crore within a week of its release, it made decent money on eighth day as well. According to early estimates, Bharat has earned Rs 7 crore (approx) on Wednesday, thus taking the total collection to Rs 174.60 crore (approx).

Going by the box office numbers, Bharat is set to enter the Rs 200-crore club soon. Released in 4700 screens across the country, Bharat currently stands as the second biggest grosser of 2019 after Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam's Uri: The Surgical Strike.

Bharat, which brings together the hit jodi of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, depicts the history of India through the life of an ordinary man. Remake of a Korean film An Ode To My Father, Bharat also stars Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani and Tabu.

Bharat has bowled over fans and critics alike. India Today reviewer Ananya Bhattacharya has called the film a perfect Eid blockbuster.

Giving the film 3 out of 5 stars, she wrote, "Through the eyes of Bharat, we see the journey of Bharat, our country, through some of its best and worst phases. Director Ali Abbas Zafar manages to capture in 2 hours and 47 minutes the ups and downs that this man and his country wade across. The best part of Bharat the film is that it has something for everyone. It is the quintessential Big Salman Khan Film with all its trappings. Romance, comedy (and a lot of it, thanks to Sunil Grover), drama, action, emotion."
