Thank you. Its not even up for debate. Shweta hindi is so clear. One of best dictions on tv and her anger scenes especially slap scenes. Amazing. But she could equally slay in emotional scenes.

Plus prerna wasn't doormat like this season. She became single mother and shweta transformation from cheerful carefree girl to a strong ruthless businesswomen was amazing. And when her son got killed in the Show. Her scenes could make anyone cry. Her and cezzane were magical together

She created chemistry with karanveer as well

She carried the whole show on her shoulders

@Bold...absolutely. Her, Smriti and Sakshi Tanwar were diamonds...dunno how EK found all 3 at the same time. Those 3 shows would not have been iconic without these 3 actresses and their sheer talent.

@ATC and Deepu: nah I found both Cezzane and Shweta being the usual melodramatic and loud actors in first season.

Erica has been shit, but almost everyone has been this season barring Parth, although his character is equally shit.

Melodrama was the selling point of that time. But you can rewatch her scenes. Her dialogue delivery was always to the point unlike Erika who eats her dialogues.

Cezanne's character was rotlu but anurag this season is useless. But Cezanne shweta formed natural chemistry and ronit Roy dont need any introduction.

Matching roni Roy is a big thing and shweta did it. She never allowed ronit alone to take all limelight. She delivered equally. She was fantastic in kzk1. She should've won more awards but tulsi mania was a thing. Smriti irani was paid up to 250000 per day shoot for the show which remains record till this day. Everyone favourite bahu but I found shweta better. But prerna wasn't a typical bahu unlike tulsi and Parvati so less awards than them..

Shweta is the reason people watched that show. And Prerna's struggle with Prem was one of the best things on TV then. I remember watching that iconic club scene where she beats his ass with a bat infront of his friends and it should have been funny,anyone doing that now would be funny but Shweta's Prerna was so firebrand, she made it so believable. That entire track was brilliant. And ofcourse everytime Prerna met Anurag the sheer power of her monologues. She made Kasauti what it was. Not one heroine right now has her screen presence.

Dude Shweta was amazing in that show. She is the one that made KZK so iconic... though I agree that storyline was OTT at times, but nothing could beat Shweta’s acting.

And someone mentioned Sakshi Tanwar. She’s such a great actress 🙌.
