Thank you for saying it! So freaking amazing that a woman will co- produce a movie and likely take a profit share than a standard pay check. This will pave way for all the women.. like start producing movies and get a profit share that’ll likely be better than lump sum. Also I am talking from the point that the hype Deepika will create for the movie, despite it being a cameo..... Same role of done by a fresher or an actress not in demand, wouldn't have gotten them the producers credit....

Also being a producer means sharing the budget at least a little bit and take part in decision making..... That's what she said for chapaak.... That now she is being part of the decision making team.... It will be the same for this movie too....

I remember my VFX studio had asked and gotten producers credit for 'Yogi Bear'. That was when production house wanted us to do the work but not pay the amount we were quoting, so our studio asked for producers right, which got them a share in the profit while doing the VFX work at the cost the production house wanted..... Of course all production houses are not so cool with sharing the credit and the profit, so it didn't work after that one project.
