Lavanya is everything that Khushi is not, yet the almond eyes won't stop haunting Arnav. It was kinda cute that he was trying to convince himself how Lavanya could be a better partner because she wouldn't walk out in a fit of anger or get lost in the middle of a journey, but then immediately realizes she wouldn't make him chicken ghassi either. He is hurt and very angry with Khushi at the moment, understandably so. But his every attempt to chuck her out of his life and mind is only making him think of her more. Classic case of - Mohabbat door jaane na de nafrat paas aane na de!

I found it quite endearing that Arnav has hired a PI to keep a check on Khushi, albeit a month late. No matter how mad he is at Khushi, Arnav does care about her. A lot! With people like Rishabh and Srijit on the loose, he probably doesn't feel it's safe for her to wander on her own. He is also contemplating helping her with the tenant situation. Does he really believe he can move on and away from her??

Khushi has been trying to reach Anjali since two months? Did she also try to call Arnav? You have to give it to her, though. She very well knows the extent of venom Arnav is capable of throwing at her. In fact, that's exactly what he is planning to do. Yet for once, she did not take the easy way out. I think job is just an excuse. She came down all the way to Delhi only to meet him and explain her POV. It's a good thing she waited for few months before reaching out. The hurt must have lessened and Arnav can now think without anger reigning his mind. Or so I hope. Reaching out to Anjali was probably a good move too. Only she can break through her brother's walls.

Shyam, the snakewa rears his ugly head again 😡!! He is always bad news. Anjali seems to be oblivious to Shyam's line of thought. Inviting Khushi to stay at her place could turn disastrous.

I feel sorry for Khushi. Really! She seems to attract all sort of evil guys, and the only nice guy who she truly loves is thinking of a long winded speech to hurt her in the worst possible way.

Loved the Holi scene, Kavi. There were many scenes that came to my mind...but I couldn't get this one out of my system

We'll get to hear the complete picture of the whole Payal saga from his outburst to Khushi, that's what I feel. Even though things are more or less clear now, we still don't know his side of things. What happened between him and Payal, what was that argument about. Is his anger/angst only to do with the arrest or there is more? Or is it that people failed him at a time when he needed support? When he was willing to go ahead with his relationship with Rashmi, she decided to listen to her dad. He thought of Payal only as a friend, and in spite of knowing about his equation with Rashmi, she still harbored feelings. He made it clear to her about his relationship with Rashmi which she didn't like, and I think that is what that argument was all about. Did she somehow come to know of his plans to meet Rashmi that day? Did she threaten to do something?

Khushi was wrong in not telling him who she is upfront. But I somehow get where she's coming from. Its not been easy for her, especially since her father's death. Many things became clear to her, her guilt at having sided with her mother without understanding the other side, that there was more to her sister's death than what her parents had given to understand. Finding that paper cutting, opened up the pandora's box in many ways. She got in touch with Payal's erstwhile friends. And things were going well, before Rishabh proposed and on her refusal was told that Raizada was responsible for Payal's death. Why that need to make it seem as if there was more? Only the anger of a spurned lover or something far more sinister? I get her need to have closure, the need to understand who her sister was in many ways. She didn't expect to meet Arnav or to fall in love with him. She found out the truth behind Payal's death, the conversation between her and her mother was also something that was needed. Deepana also told her the truth which they had hid. Now she wants to make things right with Arnav, a person she knows had helped her sister, probably saved her from a dangerous situation. She's taken the step to reach out, wanting that one chance to put her side of things across. I think he's going to tell her that he doesn't have any deep feelings for her and is thinking of marrying Lavanya (the practical, self aware person, she's aware of the privilege that she comes from and is not apologetic about it). And she'll accept that, probably happy that she could clear up things about Payal with him. But Raizada saab won't be able to stop caring, keeping an eye out for her. Especially since another snake has fallen for her charms.

Boy, this was....they tried to re-create it in "3", without even a teeny weeny bit of the impact this one still has after all these years.

I didn't reach that stage to watch it in "3".

It was such a powerful scene!

Oh so khusi is in dehli n in arnav’s house arnav should listen her side of the story n should’nt make decisions in haste n also there is lavanya i wonderwhat her role will be in this story.

Wa... Shyam is here too... God... Please let him just be someone insignificant!!. arnav is angry understandably... But the confrontation has to happen... He should know kushi's pov...

Anjali is really stuck and hence is advising arnav.. hope he listens to her...

Coming to kushi... If she's thinking she can have it easy way, am sure she will have it waiting!
