oh ok I thought he had actually done something.😆. I still hope they give a decent closure to Veer’s character. I mean ya his heartbreak is terrible and it’s terrible when a relationship ends but it’s not end the world. Time heals all wounds and people move on. They had a chance to show that with Veer’s character and move on to the actual love triangle of this serial. Instead of this dragging where no one is clarifying anything. I think now I would say for me season 1 was better as I was more emotionally invested in season 1 due to the hardships Mauli went through. Season 2 though better executed and directed misses the emotional investment as none of the lead characters have gone through real hardships. I mean ya both Mishti and Pari lost their parents but it’s no more their story. Story of how they overcame their parents loss, learnt from their parents mistakes and became a better human beings. Now this is some other story. If one is a shipper then one can enjoy romantic scenes but for non shippers a character is required in whoes journey one can emotionally invest . Go through the ups and downs with them. Here that ups and downs, that character journey is missing for all characters.
So true. They should have ended veer's character atleast with the new girl introduced, but they showed how he is insulted in the society for being a gay and what not. It reminds me of Zindagi na milegi dobara, how kalki moves on despite her break up just before the wedding. She moves on and wishes for abhay's happiness. Something like that would have brought a proper closure to the character and he wouldn't have turned negative either.
Even with the extension they would have rather moved on to the new triangle and show some flashback of how the girls overcame the loss of their parents. It would have been interesting actually.
Trust me, I still have a gut feeling that the show would end with Mishti putting a Garland around nandu's pic.
