I wish I had fun plans for the summer - need to have surgery and recovery is 6 weeks! So I guess I am not going anywhere until August!

Great to have family for grad. Couldn’t get my parents or my mil for ours. As it was more ideal to get them this sept/ oct. Will have them visit her in her college when they get to the US. My parents 50th wedding anniversary is coming up and waiting also for my brother to recover for 12 weeks at least to do a big family trip . Touch wood.

Enjoy your trip to India. Sounds hectic like u said . Sarojini nagar and Lajpat nagar for street shopping in Delhi. For food, any place in Delhi is good. Khan market is known for its food. Shopping in Jaipur is also awesome. You can try pick up gem stones , kundan and the works .

My Dad is doing OK, his mobility was very poor the last couple years, after surgery the last week or so he was pretty much bed ridden, yesterday I was told he sat up, used his walker and walked over to the dining room and sat down for a few.

Hoping he can atleast walk around more using the walker. The wound has healed completely, and dried up even.

Kala: I am sorry to hear that, hope its not a serious surgery, and something like ankle or knee (or butt or boob augmentation...😃 I imagine myself getting that if we win the lottery🤣)

Yes I am already letting my imagination run wild for the next spicy one, conjuring up lots of fireworks in and outside the bedroom.

The weather here is too hot that i find it difficult to handle....My husband n kid r now with me as he is having his Eid holidays.they will go back this weekend and i will b left alone again.....😐😐
