Bharat recorded the second highest opening of all time with collections of 41.50 crore nett though in GROSS terms it will go down to fifth position due to tax changes. It is the third film to go over 40 crore nett and the highest Salman Khan opening day. But even here the GROSS numbers will be less than Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Below are the top twenty five opening days in history in terms of collections and there are ten Salman Khan films in the list which is 40% of the films. The next best is Aamir Khan with four films while Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Hrithik Roshan have two each and one each for Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Tiger Shroff and then there is Bahubali - The Conclusion which is probably the stand out as it was a non holiday and without much of the South markets

The top non holiday outright Hindi films are Sanju and Tiger Zinda Hai. These two and Dhoom 3 are the only outright Hindi films to collect over 30 crore nett on a non holiday. The top 25 opening days in terms of NETT collections are as follows.

idk why ali didn't made more action sequences in bharat. And the songs didn't fit in the movie at all. People were sighing during turpeya. This was almost like a slice of life movie which salman is not suitable at all.

So happy for the team. I hope the collections don’t drop, and the movie reach to Hit status, if not more!

This will be second underperformer after Race 3 and third underperformer on Eid continuously from Salman. Crossing 100-200 Crores is not enough when you are taking solo festival dates like Eid and Christmas. SRK stopped getting solo releases when his movies underperformed on big holidays. Same will happen with Salman if he keeps on wasting festival dates.

Now Dabangg 3 will only get solo release because of franchise value. If that movie underperformes(which is highly possible considering Prabhudeva is director), his next Inshallah will definitely face clash with Sooryavanshi.

Salman needs to buckle up and start taking the audience seriously.

Why are people in IF saying the wom is negative. In my place everybody is loving it. My family saw it yesterday and loved it. Those who have seen the movie are giving mostly good feedback. Not like Bajrangi but a lot better than most movies in the recent past. My exams are going on but all of us at the University are so hyped up to see the movie.

Earlier people here were saying the film has zero buzz in India and now negative wom. I live in India and both of the assumption seems so wrong, at least around me. The first day collections proved the zero buzz narrative wrong. And the wom, according to me, is mostly positive to mixed.

Even salman fans are saying it this way

Movie rating non salman fans: 3/5

Movie rating salman fans: 5/5

How difficult is it to accept that this is another shit product? Bhaitards just come home and bury their heads in sand.
