They make me fall for the hero even if there is not much interaction with hero in novels.

Nope. Only S&S and P&P. But I do plan to read all her novels someday. But I can agree to yous assessment of the letters in her work from P&P at least. That was beautiful and it spoke so much more about the character who is writing it than direct conversations. It's almost as if it is the letters that explains the characters' depths.

Hello fellas, I am back again. Yeah, I'll post a riddle soon. But I don't like this new layout of IF. Its so confusing.

It took me quite some time to figure out the original site. And just when I got used to it, they decided to come up with this. I agree, like the previous one better too. This one looks so common. The only thing I like about this one is the top section of the site (banners).

The other members seem to be busy right now. We'll see when they come back. I hope we have some good discussions soon.

“Draco, do it, or stand aside so one of us -" screeched the woman, but at that precise moment the door to the ramparts burst open once more and there stood Snape, his wand clutched in his hand as his black eyes swept the scene, from Dumbledore slumped against the wall, to the four Death Eaters, including the enraged werewolf, and Malfoy.

"We've got a problem, Snape," said the lumpy Amycus, whose eyes and wand were fixed alike upon Dumbledore, "the boy doesn't seem able -"

But somebody else had spoken Snape's name, quite softly.

"Severus ..."

The sound frightened Harry beyond anything he had experienced all evening. For the first time, Dumbledore was pleading.

Snape said nothing, but walked forwards and pushed Malfoy roughly out of the way. The three Death Eaters fell back without a word. Even the werewolf seemed cowed.

Snape gazed for a moment at Dumbledore, and there was revulsion and hatred etched in the harsh lines of his face.

"Severus ... please ..."

Snape raised his wand and pointed it directly at Dumbledore. "Avada Kedavra!”

@bold: This can be interpreted in so many ways. How would you describe these lines? What do you think was going through Snape's mind at that moment? Was the revulsion and hatred meant for Dumbledore or someone else?

Hi Potterheads 🤗,

And finally I'm back with a new riddle.

Here I go,

"Charmed and unstoppable,

Yet I'm of great use,

Driven 'the one' crazy,

You will find me irritating,

Yet can't stop appreciating me."

Who am I?

Hey any of you here have watched "Zindagi Gulzar Hai"? Its a web series of 26 episodes. I have recently watched it on Netflix, and I loved the series a lot.

P.S. Currently I have started playing tunes of Harry Potter in my classical guitar. And while doing that, I actually found that there are really some awesome tunes present in HP movies. My thought usually rotates around Hedwig's theme only before that. I am playing some bunch of such tunes from the movies. Do any of you noticed the Quidditch world cup theme music ever? I am just in awe after discovering the tune.

Anyway, any of you guys are reading anything? I am reading another Bengali novel named "Aranyak" by Bibhutibhusan Bandopadhyay after almost completing Sarat Chandra which was a brilliant read. And Aranyak is also a very good novel set in the region of Bihar, describing the jungle life and its story is very intriguing.

I just loved this trailer of Super 30.

P.S. Anyway the new layout of IF is not that bad and I've discovered that its much easier now to post anything from mobile with this new development.

Riddle's diary or the sorting hat? The hat's a long shot.

Give a little hint please.

So many answers fit it but that third line is making it difficult.

I remember there used to be a TV series by the same same name on Zee's Zindagi channel. Is it the same story. I don't watch TV serials much bit I heard that was a good story.

I finished my second Agatha Christie novel called "Murder on the Orient Express" a few days ago. Since then I have reread the first two HP books. I never imagined it would be so good to read a book when I already knew the whole story. Now I am reading M.K. Gandhi's autobiography. I don't know when I'll be able to finish it.

I think I have heard of this novel you are reading from my mum. She had once told me about a book by Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay that speaks of the Jungle Mahal. She saod it was a very good read.
