Omg, thank you! I have trying to find some good thrilling books but I just didn't know where to look for them. Now, you've suggested me so many... that I don't know where to start lol. I am gonna starat with the Matarese Circle? Or do you suggest any different? Just think of me as someone new at thriller world and I need something concrete to start off with so that I stay with this genre hahah. Also, no I don't think I've heard about Jason Bourne.... okay, googled him and yes I've seen the poster of this movie before but that's about it. Is he like James Bond? (don't spoil much, I might end up reading his books)😆Originally posted by: nuomi.riceball
Hey Tris ji, if you want thriller then Robert Ludlum is definitely one of the best if not the best; my favourite of his is the Matarese Circle. If you know Jason Bourne series, the character Jason Bourne was written by him; and the first three books were written by him.
I also like Dan Brown's books; The Da Vinci Code is very good; my favourite though is the Angels & Demons. I also read the previous books he published; I think Digital Fortress is also very good.
Hey do you know that the Hunger Games is a plagiarism of a Japanese novel called The Battle Royale 😅.
I also like Harry Potter; are you also a fan of the Fantastic Beast.
Is that Vampire Academy the one with that Dimitri's character as the love interest or something?
I read Divergent only the first book; and halfway through book 2 😅😅😅
Hey, can you recommend me some of the standalone novels?
Yeah Vampire Academy had Dimitri as the love interest 🤣
Yes and no.... I like Fantastic Beasts, but I haven't read the books. Also, I left the first movie incomplete but really liked the second one!
I can definitely recommend some standalone but I don't know if you'll like them. You seem to be in the action/thriller genre more. Hmmm, how about This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers. I have a lot of "good" ones in my to-read list if you want them lol
How can they be sure Hunger Games is plagiarized? And plagiarism can happen without the intention; sometimes people think it's their original thoughts and ideas as they don't remember about reading something like that before. I think plagiarism offense is very harsh since memory is very tricky, but yeah if somebody does it with the motive to copy, or like "consciously" then yeah it's wrong imo.
So, how can they say it's plagiarism for HG?
Did they find proof Suzanne Collins used to read Japanese novels?
