Firstly, because of salary. KSG would take around 3-4 lakh per episode whereas HC would be fine with 80K.

I know ppl are saying if HK can be given 2 lakh , then why not ksg. The thing is komolika isn't a lead character and is temporary, she can keep coming on and off.

Whereas Bajaj is parallel lead, just like Anurag. So he is permanent. Paying 4 lakh every episode isn't feasible.

Now, second reason would be, loyalty. Do you think KSG will play bajaj even after 20 year leap? Ppl may say , how do u know there will be leap. But mostly all EK shows have leap. And looking at popularity of kzk, I think it will easily run for four more years.

Thirdly, HC doesn't interfere in the script. He is a director's actor.

I don't think KSG interferes with the script.

Yes KSG is a method actor, but I really feel HC can carry off the role of Bajaj really well. But yea, u r right, the script and writers have done a shoddy job. But harshad really gets into the character well and he does add his nuance. When I meant "director's actor" , I meant that he can easily understand what acting and expression is expected from him and he will enact it the way the show makers want

If method acting means the kind of actors who are not natural then I don’t think he is a method actor at all, he is very raw

Method acting requires an actor to get into the psyche of the character, and to think, react, and feel exactly like the character is supposed to, so that the performance can be lifelike.

Harshad did that in Bepannaah. Somehow here i think KSG can fit in better.

Is KSG reliable though? I know he will fit in Bajaj’s perfectly.. his romantic scenes are good as well his crying face.. He is an all rounder..

That is the problem, if his better half has a joint movie offer, he can leave it midway just like komo

QH is Gul aunty's ksg wanted to try his luck with movies. So many replacements there.

He kept in touch with her though but did not return to dailies.

Ekta will take care of that with a strict contract.
