Here is our Radha, waiting for her Krishna!

With clouds, the sky is thickened, and the woodlands darken with Tamála trees. Tonight

someone comes to express his love for her near the Yamuná, in that bower! Each path is watching for her Krishna’s footsteps, to reveal Him that Radha is waiting there to win over him in that honeyed sport!

The breeze is blowing gently, she is alarmed even when a feather or dry leaf drops and is excited about her Krishna’s arrival. Our Radha is waiting for her Krishna's arrival!

How come this ineffable beauty, the swaying garden with those yellow rows of mellifluous flowers has awakened with a quivering heart now? It was not there yesterday. How come, this sweet melody, this raaga I know not which, stretches its symphonies ahead?

The moonlight gushes at me sensuously, the shiny white flowers, it's laughter! Even as phantom flutes vibrate and serenade all around. How come this astounding beauty, has awakened from its doze?
