For me the most vital thing about Anu today was this:

I liked it that he didn't say he was supporting her because he loved her or because she was his wife. That would have been clichéd and gissa pita...and let me add typically patriarchal.

It was wonderful to hear him say he was supporting her because SHE loved HIM! And she cannot go wrong. now that is anurag Basu for me!
