Now coming to this story it starts after Prerna is found by Anuraj and gets joined in hospital and Veena comes to know about this story.
Part 1
"Mumma !" shouted Prerna as she hugged Veena from behind startling her. "When the hell did you come here" asked Veena as she cleaned her hands using a cloth and turned to face Prernna "And where is Anu and How many times should I tell you not to startle me when I am cooking?"
Prerna smiled " I know Mumma. I am sorry but its a long time na so , I am not able to resist doing it. "
Veena gave a sad smile "I understand. Go and sit, I will get you some thing."
As they both settled Veena gave Prerna some crackers and lassi and started asking "You didn't tell me why you came here?"
Prerna stopped eating "I came on a project work Ma"
Veena looked worried "Is it the one you thought of doing with Anurag? You told you will send some one else."
Prerna nodded "Haan maa, but Gireesh ne last minute mein drop hua toh mujhe aana pada. " seeing her mothers face she added " Anu is left along with Chotu Bhaiyya , don't worry . I will leave tonight. "
Veena shook her head "Why are you doing all this? Can't you let him be?"
Prerna sighed "No Maa, I am only doing this for Kaka Baba. Agar Papa hote toh , wo bhi yahi expect karega mujhse. Where is Mahesh. Last time he asked me for MacBook. I got him."
"What did you get for me ?" Prerna looked back at female voice and laughed "I am giving you my elder brother. What more do you need?" Akaknksha Bajaj, younger sister of Bajaj, and is about to marry Shekhar. Shekhar and Suman got divorced 7 years ago when Suman objected about Prernas child.
Akanksha smiled "Afternoon Mom, Bhai told me Pre is here and I came. "
Veena smiled "No worry Beta. I just hope Shekhar doesn't leave his job and land up at home because you are here."
"Maa, I am the one who brought her home" spoke Shekhar as he came behind Prerna and caught her ear "You girl, you didn't even tell any one of us you are coming home. That too after seven years. Its not at all fair "Prerna got released from her brothers grip and showing him her tongue ran from there , making Shekhar chase her.
"They both started at it" Veena shook her head and asked Akanksha "Bajaj kaha hain beta." Akanksha shrugged "He told he will be here. He said he need to speak with you regarding the dates of marriage and all." Veena smiled "I have to thank your family a lot. After Suman left, Shekhar was like a zombie for three years , you made him human again and Prerna I even fear to think what would have happen to her if Bajaj is not there. He became her support at her lows. " Veena stopped as she looked at Bajaj who just came and smiled , he returned the smile " Maa, Prerna would have been fine because she is a fighter. "
Veena cupped his cheek affectionately "But you helped her."
Bajaj shrugged "She is my friend. I have to help her. Its my responsibility."
Veena nodded "Akshu told me, you wanted to speak about marriage dates."
Bajaj nodded "Haan maa, but the thing was, this year I got to host the Kolkatas Pandal from the business association for Dusserah. And we thought we will do the marriage during Dusserah. I am confused. "
Prerna and Shekhar came there and listened everything about the dates issue. So Shekhar spoke "Whats big problem in that Bhaiyya. We will get married in Pandal only. After all how many are lucky enough to get married infront of Devi Maa."
Prerna smiled "Thats great , Maa please accept na."
Veena nodded "I am fine with that. Pandit ji said Dusserah is the day which is best according to these both kundali. If it can be done I am fine. But Bajaj, you would have a very high dreams regarding your sisters marriage. "
Bajaj looked at Akanksha who shrugged " Don't worry Maa, I will make everything special . "They all shared a smiled and Prerna got lost fingering that hidden thread on her neck remembering the vows she was given but never fulfilled.

"How did you Project go Anurag? You are very stressed about it for past few days. " asked Maloy as Anurag sat infront of him for tea. Anurag spoke absentmindedly " It went well dad."
Mohini who was also there exclaimed "Thats a great news Anoo. But why are you so dull. " she look concerned "Is your health fine."
Anurag nodded "I am fine Maa. Papa I need to speak with you about some thing."
Maloy nodded and they both went into Anurags study and Anurag started "Papa, its a good news, this project will finally solve our problems, we can finally fulfill the debt we have to Thakur ji."
Maloy smiled "Atleast that mean we can get rid of Komolika."
Anurag nodded "I saw Prerna today dad."
Maloy looked startled "Prerna?"
Anurag nodded "She is the one who gave me this contract. She is a successful entrepreneur in Hyderabad. This project belongs to her. But that is not worrying me, her attitude , she hates me dad." Anurag broke down "She is Prerna Bajaj now and she is in contact with Bajaj, probably even married. She...i mean... that guy is dangerous, but she is all smiles when she is speaking with him. That was the only time in the one hour or so she spent here, I got a glimpse of my Prerna. Seven years I searched for her everywhere, and today when she is infront of me , I am not even able to hug her. I can't make her smile. Her eyes are filled with hatred when she looked at me. What am I supposed to do Dad. I lost her because of these people. I lost her because of my self. I have no other reason to live today Dad."
Moloy hugged his son sitting beside him on floor as he cried his hearts out.

Prerna is standing in the balcony of her old room as Bajaj came and stood beside her "What are you thinking."
Prerna smiled "Life is very strange na, my last dusserah in Kolkatta, you know what, I got into a fire accident that day and Anurag saved me. I knew him for years before that, but that was the first time I am closer to him. I came to know what he is. But everything I thought I knew about him, it all came out to be false. " She has tears rolling down her eyes as she hugged her self " Seven years I tried to hate him, but there was not even one day I didn't remember him or missed him. When I loved him , I took him as my husband in my mind. But what did I get, betrayal, betrayal of its worst kind. Even today my heart doesn't allow me believe he betrayed me. Even today it will try to find that speck of love in his eyes" She fell down on her knees and Bajaj sat beside her and hugged her from side as he tried to console her "Why did he say he loved me when he is going to marry the first rich girl he came across, why did he do me all those promises, why did he give me Anu when he is gonna leave me. Why?"
