ðŸ˜She looked at him, her fiery orbs melting into ice
He looked back at her, his lips slightly open, not blinking twice
She wanted revenge
He wanted her safety at all costs
She wanted to hurt him back ten times harder
than he hurt her,
He was already wielding a knife
through his heart, an exercise he was condemned to forever.
Her love had turned to hate,
and then back to a fiery love as she burnt his traces,
His love had stooped low,
And was going to stoop lower, as he prepares to change more faces.
I could go and on, but honestly, if out of the two, I was struck with anybody's pain, it was Prerna. Yes, I know, Anu would be losing out in the long run, but it was Prerna, who was battling a now hardened heart and yet traces of passionate love and a (seemingly) indifferent lover who had abandoned her to pick up the pieces of her life. Anurag had hurt her the most, to a degree she would never be able to recover (or so she feels right now). Whereas Anurag had to wrench himself over and over to do this, or so he thinks.
Prerna feels condemned to pain, hurt and anger for the rest of her life.
Anurag KNOWS he is condemned to lovelessness for the rest of his life.
Together, and individually, they are the thorn birds who dared to make the tale come alive. And that is why we say, you should never wish for things you don't know well. To aspire to, and desire for a love that consumes you also means it can eat you alive, and you will never come out the same way again.
I felt bad for their physical proximity and yet, their light-years-like-distance.
All said and done, I STILL feel Anurag has an option - to trust Prerna and tell her the truth. He can still do some damage control, if he acts now, NOT after he goes honeymooning with Komo! There is one person I still have my hopes up on - Mishka. I hope she will be spurred on to making a move and telling Anurag all about Komo before they set off on their honeymoon. I want Anu to be the one to come to know of Komo's real "abilities" and not Prerna. I want Anu to go all the way and remedy all that he has done, AnuPre relationship can still be salvaged.
Meanwhile, between Pre and Komo, it looks like Pati, Patni aur Woh, the philosophy on which most ITV serials today rest. Two women fighting over a man who doesn't have a spine - the very thing I ran away from years ago while watching YHM and might end up running away from AGAIN, if that's what KZK2 is going to be all about.
Share your thoughts guys, let's apply some balm on our painðŸ˜ðŸ˜
