I am in LOVE with GB's "Azadi" .. really didn't know this was the original inspiration! ... So TFS .. I love both renditions ... Inclusion of "rap" elevates the tempo and spirit of the song! ... I am liking how GB has brought many artists in the front! .. "Dub Sharma, Divine, Naezy and many more"..<3

"Azadi .. bhookmari se Azadi ..." .. Intro slogan is catchy AF! ..

I like like orginal version better. Coz bookmari poonjivad all are orginal issues, u can see pain of genral public, masses. The version we have got now also does same to extent but its asorted version.

What is poonjivad?

Yes on point about pain for general public being reflected in the slogan and original song... so pleasantly surprised to have heard it!

Poonjivaad is capitalism. Were rich become more rich and poor people become more poor.

In 2016 the song was viral online. Its basically anti govt song i guess thats why it wasnt given exposure in main stream media. The song is catchy. They have modified bharmanvaad sangvaad so that it dosnt directly point at rss.

@whit3dove .. I was listening to this song and I came across few words I am not aware of (sorry my Hindi isn't that great .. 😳 ).. so if you know, can you tell me their meaning ... "Nautangvaad, chamandvaad (?), kamalvaad (?), manuvaad" ... this is how they sounded to me!

Also I was reading on Kanhaiyan Kumar, his stand against Mohammad Afzal, JUN controversy and the whole nine yard... what is your take on it and how do you view Mr. Kanhaiyan?

Also noticed that GB doesn't use all those "words" .. only uses common phrases like "Bhookmari, bhedbhaav etc"!

Kanhiya Kumar Azadi slogan Famous due to "afjal hum sharminda hai tere katil zinda" not about Azadi , main case is all about this "afjal hum sharminda hai tere katil zinda"
