So here's my positive prediction, which I posted in the LU thread too. I thought along these lines considering Star Plus put up a promo with regards to the engagement etc.
I saw the SBS segment, where Mohini announced the sangeet. But looks like that was before the engagement actually happened.
So maybe just as Anu is about to put the ring on Mishka, Pre falls off the stairs. Anu drops the ring, and goes to score a goal..oops catch Prerna hung in mid air. They come back to reality, then everyone is hunting for the ring.
That's when Devi Maa interrupts, and the power goes off. Or maybe Anupam plans it too.
So Anu and Anupam both go to fix the fuse, considering the lack of sensible people in Basu villa/ and lack of servants.
As they fix the fuse, Anupam manages to fix Anu's brain too 😆😆. The power is back.
Maybe at this point inside the house another drama is ensuing. The Sharma's realise its Kom who is there, and connect the dots. Moloy hears them out, and takes a stand for Shivani. ( He was the only one who reminded the Sharmas about their daughter's recent suicide attempt) He asks Chaubey to leave as he needs some time to think over this proposal again.
Chaubey takes it upon his ego and breaks the rishta.
So maybe Anu doesn't really break his own engagement, doesn't still confess to Prerna, but doesn't do the engagement also. Self realisation will come. By the time he will muster the courage to tell Pre, we will have more Kasautiiz.
