What couples from movies would've broken up by now? We all see the happy ending, but I believe there are some couples that are doomed post credits.

Example: bunny & Naina (added bonus: kalki & her sugar daddy from yjhd)

Rahul and Anjali in KKHH for sure !! Rahul was a complete jerk 😆

Geeta and Mohan from Swades. I have seen people having this sudden longing for home country and leaving everything aside and move back to India, but eventually regretting it, becoming too depressed and moving back to America if possible (like Mohan's green card was approved). I dont think in long term they would have sustained.

Gayatri and Lakshmi from Padman. I dont think Lakshmi who was so so progressive and ahead of time, could have continued any further with such regressive woman like Gayatri for long. If it was reverse i.e. the girl was progressive and boy not, I would have said the same. It's difficult to change someone's personality altogether.

Nice topic. I had to give it real thought become I love movies with happy ending and tend to believe they are together for ever 😆

Sandy and OK from OSO. He was in love with Shanti and Sandy was a different person just same face.

This is actually a tough one ...! The happy endings are so convincing you see. I agree about the Bunny and Naina pairing also as their glaring differences weren't really addressed or resolved.

Simran and Raj -DDLJ , Raj was annoying , I don't think Simran would jhelo him for a long time.

Karisma and Salman's characters in Biwi no 1, he would have strayed again and she would have given up at one point of time😆

Great thread and difficult question!

Bunty and Naina - he didn't seem too convincing in the end that he would not want to take off and travel the world

Band Baja Baraat - too much of a ego clash between these two

Tanu weds manu - they are NOT meant to be together

Edit: Not in BW but also Ron and Hermoine from Harry Potter 😃

Bunny and Naina for sure. Sooner or later Bunny would have started feeling claustrophobic being tied down in a relationship.

Also add Tara and Ved to the list. Neither of them are suited for a fairy tale type of ending. They would probably be the on again off again sort of drama couple.

All the Arjun Kapoor jodis. Especially from Namaste England and Half Girlfriend. Because Arjun Kapoor played a loser in both the films who deserves to be dumped.😛

I don't think Sandy and OK are explicitly shown to be a couple in the end of OSO. He behaved more like a mentor towards her. I like to imagine OK spends the rest of his life with Shanti's memories although it's a bit unrealistic. Kind of like Aamir's character from Ghajini
