When you are in a situation where people are going to be super upset about something you did... You first think of people who would have the worst reaction... In this case Naina's family is going to have that worst reaction.. So she worrying about her family more is natural..
Her family is capable of trashing Sameer as well... So she is not just worried about her but both... The way Taiji treated shefali and her family, she could insult his family too..
