Womp Womp, I obviously know they wont post any pictures. They generally seem relatively private. Never see any Instagram stories or anything from either.

The bride does not cover her head, as in there is no dupatta or sari palloo over the head 😃
The hair is usually tied in a long braid or a bun with lots of flowers and gajra.

There are some cute rituals - one of them is the groom pretending to want to go to Kashi and continue his brahmacharya...then the elders of the family cajole him into entering grahastha ashram 😆
Another is the bride and groom together grinding grains in a stone chakki, to vow that they will help and support each other in everything in life.

you know whats more fascinating is that all these rituals are very similar in different cultures too. I am a Gujarati and the part about bride coming to the mandap along with her uncles (mamas) is the same. all the other parts like white cloth between the bride and the groom before they exchange varmalas, then saptpadi, kanyadaan is all the same as well. they are some very different rituals as well which is even more fun to know about. One of our closest friend got married to a Telugu girl and I saw how some the customs are so different and some are very similar. I love knowing more about different cultures. 😛

they are crazy, hopelessly in love with each other and also bring out the best in each other every freaking time. I absolutely love how they behave when they are with each other. Their interviews, their photoshoots and those little gestures. ❤️
