KC, and Nehal are in the Sharma Niwas hall, MC comes there and tells KC who,is preparing the iems list for Karwa Chauth to include coconut, then remembers and adds Mehendi. MC tells Nehal who is on a curler and styling her hair to call up the Mehendi lady. Nehal replies that her hands are busy and her Mom tells her to free them and call the lady, to do some work as her decking up will go on till the Moon arrives the next day. Nehal gets irritated and asks them why doesn't anyone tell it to Mehek. KC tells her that Mehek has just returned from the competition and her hand is injured. Nehal accuses them and swears that from the day Mehek has come on TV they have made her a maid servant in the house. Gets up from there and goes in a huff.
Nehal calls Ajay and he sees the call is from his Nehal Darling and picks it up and asks how is his baby. Nehal tells him the she isn't well absolutely, one thing is she is observing fast on Karwa Chauth and there is so much of work to do. A shocked Ajay asks him if he heard it right, she is keeping fast on Karwa Chauth but for whom. Nehal calls him a duffer and informs that she is doing it for him. Ajay questions her that they are not married and how can she fast for him. Nehal tells that even unmarried girls fast for the sake of getting a good husband, Mehek also had observed it last year and instead of Mehek she got him. Ajay makes fun of her and says, may be this year will get someone by next Karwa Chauth instead of her as Nehal is fasting this year. Nehal is not happy hearing all this and cuts the call.
KC is feeding Mehek in her sitting on the cot. Mehek says enough but KC asks her to eat well now as she has to fast tomorrow. Mehek is unwilling and asks her again..., why ?KC questions what does it mean, why ? Tells that unmarried girl get a good husband if they do fasting on Karwa Chauth. Mehek naughtily asks her so what happened to last year's fasting, did the groom loose his way and end up in Sonal's house, blinks her eyes funnily. KC feeds Mehek and tells that lengthier the penance (jitna lamba tapasya), she'll get those many blessings (utna bada ashirwaad), so she better eat to the fullest as she will not get anything to eat tomorrow. Mehek almost throws a tantrum hearing this. KC tells her Mehek need not wait for the moon, she can break her fast seeing the stars.
Khanna mansion, preparations are on and Karuna Maa comes with a tea cup and gives it to Nanz who is relaxing in the hall and laughingly asks if marriage preparations are going on in the house. Nanz tells her it's not marriage preparation but for the day of married woman as online shopping has been done for Karwa Chauth material. Karuna Maa says "Ohh God, this Svethlana... Nanz asks KMaa that she has heard that even grooms are available online and this is just shopping of puja items. Karuna Maa says true the material is same but there is no fun in online shopping, all the fun of Karwa Chauth is going for shopping to those narrow lanes of Old Delhi, those small shops, bargaining the price in the shops and buying the items. Asks Nanz she'll accompany her for shopping, right. Nanz says of course, why not. Shaurya comes there and Karuna Maa asks him he'll take them out na. He says yes and asks where to. Karuna Maa says for Karwa Chauth shopping. Shaurya tells her to do the shopping but not to observe fast, what's the need, she has done it all these years and it's enough and her age now is not of fasting for a full day. Karuna Maa complaints to Nanz about this. A voice says why is Shaurya is giving his opinion, all turn around and see Senior Khanna and he tells Shaurya it's Karuna's wish, let her do it and his opinion is not needed and asks Shaurya if he understood. Shaurya taunts his Dad and asks why is he scared that something bad will happen to him if Karuna Maa doesn't fast for him. Servants stop working and listen to this exchange. Shaurya suggests to his Dad to think about others too and not just himself, calls him Mr Khanna. Karuna Maa gets up and comes to Shaurya, hold his hand and requests him that it is festive season and can they all stay together like a family, seeks Shaurya and Dad and says if only they both agree to it. Shaurya glares at his Dad, turns to his Mom, his expression softens and says ok and asks her to inform him when and where she has to go, he'll take her, again glares at his Dad and says "for Karwa Chauth shopping and goes away from there. Mr Khanna tells Karuna Maa that he needs to speak to her and asks her to come to their room. Nanz signals het to go.
Mr Khann and Karuna Maa are in their room and he pours himself a drink. Tells Karuna to speak to Shaurya and tell him not to forget that he's his Dad. Let Shaurya not show his attitude coz of his money and success, he himself was more successful than Shaurya at his age. Karuna asks him to speak to Shaurya himself and he says he can tell all this if they speak to each other, but Shaurya goes on a rahe when he sees him. Karuna is sad and says it's a life long grief Shaurya is suffering and will take time to heal. A remorseful Harish Khanna asks her how much she'll punish him for his past deeds, he is ready to go though his penance so that she can stop reminding of the past and she tells him she is ready to forget and stop reminding him but Shaurya...he will not stop thinking. A defeated Harish Khanna picks up his drink again.
Shaurya is punching his bag and hitting it hard, venting out his frustration. He keeps remembering his past, his Dad's cruelness, some accident and burning pyre etc. Keeps hitting until he tires, seems both angry and frustrated.
Sharma Niwas, all the ladies are gearing up for Karwa Chauth getting Mehendi and are sitting in the court yard having fun. Mohit and JC come their with fruits, snacks etc. JC sees the ladies who are happily relaxing doing nothing and grumbles thank goodness Karwa Chouth comes only once a year. Mohit teases him ya, have to do the work, right. JC stares at him and he doesn't say more. PD is sitting along the gang and watching them. Nehak is recording videos of Mehendi and Mehek too looks happy and enjoying all this. JC comes again with a bucket full of washed clothes and looks in melancholic mood. All ladies laugh looking at him and his mood, Sheetal tells KC that today all her clothes have been washed. KC too laughs hearing this. PD tells them that Festivals like Karwa Chauth are for the very purpose to make the men folk aware of the household chores and how difficult it is to manage them. JC complains that they are laughing at him and it's not right. Even men have to slog and sit the shop, it's not easy as they think. Grumbles that they are laughing on him and starts singing "Mehendi toh mehendi hai, rang... Mehek says Chachu is right and Sheetal shuts her up for supporting him and says that PD is right, even men should know how much work ladies do. PD tells Sheetal not to make her open her mouth, asks Sheetal to send her hubby to watch movie, poor guy is seen at the kitchen window every day. KC can't control her laughter hearing this and laughs out loud, others too join her. Sheetal begs her to not to say anything at least today.
PD asks the girls to sing and play the dhol, dance as they have the occasion and tells that even she would have fasted for her Yusuf if possible. KC asks Sheetal to play dhol but denies and says she'll dance. All the ladies star singing and dancing on "kaala shakaala... while PD looks on. Sonal phone rings and it's her fiance at the other end and he asks her to come somewhere. She asks him "now and when he insists she says she'll try.
In Khanna mansion, Karuna is getting mehendi done and Nanz says that her mehendi color will come out good just like the love she has in her heart. Karuna tells her that now a days everything is artificial and the color would definitely emerge good. Shuarya hears to their conversations and smiles. Karuna Maa asks Nanz if Svethlana would apply mehendi or not. Just then we see a very stylish looking glamorous lady entering KM with servants carrying lot of bags along with her. Comes and stands in front of Devi Maa and taps her studded fingers. Nanz says where will Svethlana follow all these customs and traditions of Karwa Chauth and stops sensing the entry of Svethlana. Turns to see Svethlana standing in front of her and others along with her including Awara. Says she has come and Karuna Maa also sees her. Svethlana looks at the servants and says "what and asks them to keep the baggage inside and gets irritated and yaunts that everyone around is stinking. Nanz is not happy to hear this. Svethlana takes out her perfume and sprays it around and swears "bloody swine. Nanz doesn't understand and requests Svethlana not to drink wine as it is Karwa Chouth. Svethlana sits next to Nanz and calls her mummiji and says she said "swine meaning "pig and not wine. Curses the mall and says that it was filled with pigs, once the festival season starts one cannot step into a mall, every where there are people swarming around and stinking coz they get free AC. Karuna pacifies her saying it's ok and asks her not be angry and it's Karwa Chouth and tells her to get the mehendi done. Svethalana calls Maruna Maa "Didi and tells her that she may not love her husband as much as Karuna does but both their husbands are chep, only difference is tht hers is behind the bars in jail and Karuna's is roaming outside freely. Shows both her hand to Karuna Maa and says she got it done in 10 minutes in the parlour, it suits her to sit like statue for 2 hours but not her.
Svethlana after all her banter gives a shout to Awara to bring her cigarette. Shaurya comes there all dressed up and looking handsome. Goes to Karuna Maa and says that he has some work and is going to Defence colony and has told his driver to get the items Karuna Maa needs and he'll get it and hand it over to her. Hugs his Mom and kisses her and waves bye to Nanz and is about to leave. Svethlana stops him and asks to pay some attention to her too, calls him handsome. Shaurya stops and just stares with dislike at her. Svethlana gets up and goes to him, studies him and asks where is he going nicely dressed up, says let me guess and asks if he has a date. Shaurya taunts her saying she has lots of time for all such things and he is going for a business meeting. Svethlana touches his jacket and says it's nice and looks very expensive too, continues pathetically "I must say, these days expensive clothes suit you well. Karuna Maa and Nanz look at their exchange anxiously. Shaurya tells Svethlana he has learnt all this staying with her and she says no, why is he giving her the credit, even if a country dog stays with a wealthy family for two years and eats brown bread, it would look like a foreign breed. Shaurya is angry hearing all this and clenches his fist to control seeing Karun asking him to be calm. Svethlana continues spitting venom and says after all they have raised him for 12 years. Shaurya controls his anger and just looks at Karuna Maa and goes away from there. Svethlanaa sees him move away and again calls out for Awara to bring her cigarette.
Sonal comes to Mehek who's enjoying with others and tells her the Vicky wants to meet her right now and her Mom will not allow her to go alone to meet him, asks Mehek to come along. Mehek says even KC will not allow her and to this Sonal requests Mehek to convince KC but then again says she herself will talk to KC and goes to her. Tells KC that she has to go to meet Vicky and asks her to allow to take Mehek with her for 2 hours. KC tells Sonal how can she send Mehek today, on a festival day, SHeetl too requests KC to allow Mehek to go along with Sonal as she'll not send Sonal alone with Vicky and that Vicky has taken a flat and they are going to see it. Mehek too requests KC who is not willing to send Mhek on Karwa Chouth day along with Sheetal and Sonal. Sheetal begs KC to let Mehek go and to listen to kids once in a while. KC finally agrees and tells Mehek to come back before stars are seen. Sonal and Mehek happily leave from there in haste.
On their way out Sonal and Mehek see a ghunghat clad lady outside Sharma Niwas and Mehek asks her who she is. The lady tells her that she is Ram Dulhari's Dulhania. Mehek and Sonal are confused and question each other. Seeing their silence, the lady says she brought chudiyaan (bangles) for Nehal bitiyan. Mehek tells her that Nehal inside and the two girls almost run from there.
A car stops near a multi storeyed building and Shaurya who is driving the ar gets down and throws the keys to his driver. Gives money to his driver and asks him to get the material from Dariya Gunj. AN agent comes to Shaurya and welcomes him. Asks him what he would like to have something hot and cold. Shaurya says nothing and asks him to show the flat. Agent takes Shaurya along and says that a celebrity like Shaurya wants to stay in a a flat and Shaurya tells him in a no nonsense tone that every house will not be for one's own self, he is rather looking for accommodation for his new workers. Agent takes him to show the flat saying it's a very nice flat, has a balcony too. At the same time Vicky, Sonal and Mehek too come to the same building along with their agent. Sonal exclaims "oh teri and asks Vicky that their dream house is hidden here and tells Mehek that it's good that she came along, even her best friend should like the flat and tells Vicky that she'll decorate her house with fresh flowers every day. Gets close with Vicky and pinches his cheek lovingly and he too returns the favor. Tells Sonal they can do whatever his jaan (Sonal) likes. Mehek see them getting close and clears her throat. They move apart and ascend the stairs to see the flat.
Shaurya's agent opens a flat and takes him inside. Shaurya has a look around. Agent shows him the balcony, side room and kitchen etc. Shaurya says it's ok and asks the agent how many rooms are there in total and he answers that there are 5 rooms.
Vicky's agent brings them to the flat opposite to the one Shaurya is looking at. Mehek keeps looking around. Shaurya says he'sok with the flat and his agent tries to impress saying the room(hall) is very good and there is the balcony in the front where there is lot of fresh air. Vicky's agent too tells them about the flat and shows them balcony, hall and kitchen. Sonal keeps the water bottle she's carrying on the platform there, their agent gets a call and he attends it.
Shaurya's agent asks Shaurya not to take load and asks him to just take the flat. Shaurya asks him if the municipal corporation affadavits is ready along with space and ceiling clearance etc. Agents says he'll speak to the builder and till then Shaurya can look around the flat. Shaurya says ok.
At Sharma Niwas, the ghunghat lady enters inside where all the ladies are sitting and singing. See her PD asks who is she and what does she want. The lady stammers she is Lalla's dulhaniya. PD asks her kheda Lalla and the lady says the corner one. PD tells that's ok and asks her to remove her ghunghat as there are only ladies there. Lady says that as today is Karwa Chouth she'll show her face only to her Mard (hubby). An agitated PD asks her what does she want and the lady says she has brought chudiyaan for Nehal. OD asks her from when does she have friendship with Nehal (Nehal se tera yaraana kab se hogaya) and calls Nehal who is engrossed in taking her selfie and asks if she has called her. Nehal comes to the lady and tries to see her face and says "PD, I didn't..., the lady shows her face to Nehal and it's Ajay disguised as a lady. Nehal immediately changes her tone and pulls Ajay and runs inside pulling him along saying yes, she had called the lady. PD looks along.
Vicky's agent tells them to have a look around and he'll be back in 15 mintues as he same some work down stairs and shows Vicky the master bedroom. Vicky flirts with Sonal saying "Madam, bedroom, pointing towards the bedroom. They both are flirting in front of Mehek and Vicky asks Sonal how did she find the new house and Sonal says "Very nice and he kisses her cheek. Mehek is embarrassed and goes away from there to the balcony. Even Shaurya enters the balcony of his flat. They both breathe in fresh air, relax against the railing and look totally lost in their own peaceful world and very happy.
