The episode begins with Navin annoyed with Prerna , she gives him another mouthful and leaves telling him that she would buy something from her regular stores as she was not comfortable in the clothes of his choice ..saaying this she dumps the crumpled up sare into his hand. . navin angrily asks the sales girl to pack it .'nav follows Pre to the car
he mutters that she would be tolerated with her attitude and tantrums only uptil marriage after that he would have his way with her .He decides to evenge this insult after marriage .
at Basu house Anu is looking for Navin maanmu he goes to her room to find that same saree lyin gin a packet , he wonders if she did not like it why did she select it or buy it ..he thinks he did not understand her , or was he mistaking ??he had thought of Prerna as a girl withsimple lifestyle , having simple choices and leading a maryadit zindagi ..it seemed he was wrong .
He overhears navin speaking to someone that the girl agreed to marry him without much troble , the adaan pradaan also got over without much difficulty . The girl was difficult he would soon control her .He tells some one not to bother , he would manage on his own .
Anurag wonders what did he mean by controlling Pre ?? To whom was he talking ill about prerna ??
anurag informs mamu that his mom was calling him to discuss ashirvaad rasam .
nav leaves .
anu then notices mamu getting call on his mobile from"JAAN"
he is sure he was speaking to his person . and if he had jaan in his life why did he need to marry Pre ??
at college Pre is confronted by Anjali for marrying Navin an old person .if she was having financial problems ??pre says she fell for that oldie .
reema refuse s to believe Pre . she questions pre to reveal what was her problem ??
pre recollects her discussion with Kaka babu over the trouble on Puja pandal expenses with rajesh . pre is scared her baba would be insulted over the expenses even further if he did not repay his loan back to kaka babu . .
anjali refuses to believe Prerna that she liked that oldie .
soon pre notices anurag at college . she runs to him and asks Anurag to help her . he refuses to help her in matters regarding her n navin babu
pre asks her to hep her by giving her lift ..anurag wishes to be left out from her n navin babu affairs .Prerna, Reema and Kirti notice Kirti's family looking for her at college ... Pre grabs him by his hand and drags him to his car . Prerna explains to Anu that Kirti loved rohan but because he was poor and poor social status her parents refused to allow them to marry , Kirti tried suicide to get her way but that failed , her parents looked for another rich guy n insisted Kirti marry him .
in the car reema is there, Kirti is there and so is her boyfriend Rohan friend they help the couple to elope and get married . as they help the couple to elope they notice kirti's parents . they are followed by kirti's chacha's car .
kirti is scared that she will be caught . she will forcibly be married off to another person .
pre suggests they hide inside a movie hall where they are least likely to be searched . as she is giving directions to Anurag she gets calls from Nav. she cuts his calls , anu notices this . anu asks was he asking her to come for more shopping ?? pre says she was not in mood now ,. Pre thinks she could handle only one matter at a time , now she was too busy with kirti's affair to be bothered by Navin .
at home Nav is furious that Pre was showing attitude to him and cutting his calls . he angrily vouches to keep her under control .
soon nav gets a call from his influential politician elder brother Mr Barrister Siddhant Choubey who had just arrived in Kolkata town from Meerut along with his daughter Komolika , along with her two friends ...
They were put up in the hotel . Navin praises his dada as being the king of Merut ...he asks if they were from Meerut ...why was his beti named KOMOLIKA ?? Mr Choubey says his wife was Bengali thats why .
Nav say she had heard of komolika ..he invited his dada / elder bro over for his aashirvaad .
at hotel the staff stare at Komolika's figure easily visible thru revealing attire and discuss in undertones about her beauty . ..she was choti packet mein bada dhamaka ...a girl is seen walking swaying her waist her curly waist length wavy hair looking pretty .. "NIKAAA ,,,," is heard in BG
business man refuse to disturb Komolika as she had other engagement . navin offers to visiti him at hotel with prerna .
navin is worried Pre was not taking his calls , he visits Sharma hous e, he is welcomed by Suman excitedly , none of the other family members share her excitement .
navin is seen inviting Rajesh and Veena and their family about his ashirvaad ceremony .he gives them the first card . he then says at ashirvaad the girl is given jewellery from the groom's side . he asks suman to take prerna shopping for jewellery n sarees without bothering abut the payment , he would take care of that , veena feels annoyed by his offer .
he would have taken Pre himself but he did not know much about this city as he was from London .
Navin insists as it was rasam . he gives 5 lakhs .. rajesh is hesitant to take such huge amount of cash but navin says he could give even more , they should not hesitate to buy anything . sharma family is hesitating . Navin leaves and thinks that he will give Sharma family so much cash that they will be forced to fulfil his demands crushed under his debt burden . after that prerna will have to do as he willed , she had to please him the way he demanded .
after Nav leaves Suman taunts her husband shekhar that if he could have his way he would spend that 5 lakhs for their household expenses only .Shekhar gets an idea and says they will be able to repay their houde loan to . suman is furious .

Nav angrily orders some one on phone that the girl should be kept under his radar 24 hrs wherever s he went and what ever she did .
Mohini tells Moloy that he was very much worried for Anurag he wss not himself these days .. Moloy assures his wife their son was just fine .
rajesh is standing before Mohini and Moloy as she scolds him for giving poor values to their daughter .
Moloy is in dilemma and tries to stop his angry wife and feels very hurt as mohini speaks to Rajesh in angry tone insulting him and talks about Prerna in poor light .
Anupam gets a call that anurag was arrested by police , Mohini is very upset hearing that .
