The butchering of Bela as a character

Somehow this season the makers r absolutely not concerned about the characterisation of the main lead they see her being criticized for something nd still go forward with it.

Very good topic. Character development is very important. The producers are just introducing track after track and not much character development. Again it all comes down to the directors and ekta not caring since it's the No.1 show. Characters like Vish, Bela and Mahir should have been shown having progressive character development. Bela is my favorite character but I'm not going to lie. Her character development needs to be better as does Mahir and Vish.


Scenes like those what you talk about should have been shown. Those scenes are important and show the characters in a better light. Vish has been sidelined in the past episodes. Her development progress is not that good. She doesn't have much scenes and when she does reappear it's like where she come from. Vish character has a lot of potential. This character has so much story to tell with her grey traits. We haven't even had a good scene between Bela and Vish after the Shaan track. It's like where did this team go.



With Mahir the writers are adamant on showing his character being in conflict every time about whether Bela loves him or not. One minute he is sure of her love the next he is confused. We are like what some people say halfway in the show and still no proper development for Mahir. This is the director fault. Look at the precap again Bela and mahir arguing. Instead of wasting scenes on misunderstanding there is still so much to reveal.


Like when Bela will find out about her mom?
When will Mahir find out about his backstory?
When will we get a scene between Vish and Bela?
What is Vish backstory? Where does she fit in all of this?
Is Vish with Vikrant?
When will Bela start to investigate what's going on?


The naag guru is very important in all of this and they barely show him. They showed her mom is alive and we haven't seen her back since the scene with the guru putting a protection around her. With every villain they Introduced they don't spend time on their backstory. So I completely agree with you. Bela is being shown in an bad light because of missing scenes like these and no proper development. However I still love her and vish

Also would like to add that I'm just worried people are going to hate Bela. I've been reading comments on twitter, instagram and even YouTube. Many viewers have similar complaints about why important scenes like those they don't show.


Again that whole confession scene with Bela confessing to yuvi thinking it's Mahir should have been cleared up. It's just unnecessary drama. All writers had to do was show Bela saying that confession was for Mahir instead of yuvi and she didn't even know yuvi was back. Instead they write a scene again with Bela reduced to tears and Mahir not giving her a chance to speak.

That scene also with Vikrant sacrificing his love and putting Bela in a bad light again I agree with what you said.

Bela is my fav character I honestly am seeing the show for surbhi but that doesn't mean I am to defend put up with character flaws from day 1 I have seen the character being bashed on the forum Twitter Instagram first when she was ride to mahir pearl nd behir shippers where like mahir is so good how can Bela be rude almost neglecting she considers him a killer then Vish fans bashing Bela for not taking the revenge seriously when she softens to mahir. Now Vikrant fans bashing her on the 100 Saal Ka pyaar ko dhoka

then about Vish the screen presence nd importance of that character has been neglected today if they end the character of Vish their would hardly be any effect on the storyline nd she was supposed to be a major character

I completely agree with everything you say. Fans of those character were bashing Bela. I remember the Mahir fans saying how Bela is being rude to him. Well did they forget that she initially hated him thinking he killed the person she first loved. Her purpose was to get in the house to kill him not bother about his feelings. With what Vish fans were saying how she was not taking the revenge seriously. I have to agree with that. The writers made her soft since being around Mahir. She shouldn't have steered from her purpose. The revenge plot is very weak and Bela is suppose to be the one enforcing it. They should have shown Bela investigating and getting to the truth that Mahir did not shoot Vikrant. Again many people are asking what the revenge is now Vikrant is back? Many are getting confused. I also agree I wanted them to reveal about Bela and Vish. Vish is one of the main characters yet she is not given much significance or scenes. Anita has great screen presence like Surbhi they should utilize her. I don't know what they doing. Last but not least Mahir. I agree with everything you say which is why he is not my favorite character because of the writers portrayal of him. Your right. Why not confront Bela and ask her rather then the self talk. It's because writers want to drag it out. But in all of this Bela is getting the criticism and hate. Everytime Bela tries to clear something up with Mahir he misunderstands and don't hear her out. HE did it with pregnancy track and now this. The writes do need to stop beating around the bush and start putting things in motion properly.

Also to add to what you said I agree the witch and snake charmer track didn't reveal any of the villain backstory or how they knew Bela.

Agree with what you said @surbhizoya if Bela kills everyone that fast. The story ends in 4 episodes. Her settling in and taking them out one by one by planning and calculating is how Queens do.However Bela needs to start getting back in action and find out what's going on. I think it's good that Bela be's a friend and a queen to Vish. Because when you be nice to people they take advantage over you. I love Vish but I will point out her error that just because Bela is her friend doesn't give her the right to tell her what to do. She can advice her yes but ordering her is not the way. At the end of the day she is till your Queen. People who are fans of rajat tokas will of course be fans of vikrant and hence bash Bela for moving on so quickly. The writers should have handle this in a better way. The situation between Bela and Vikrant is complex.

Yes Bela and vikrant equation is complex...ha ha ha Bela will be bashed untill cv's show why Bela left her 100 yrs love behind and confidently chose 100 days love. They need to uncover some back story and also in future vikrant real intentions, only then Bela might be freed from the curse of bashing
