You know ... this growing closeness with them can easily be a function of the fact that they have the opportunity to be with just themselves. I am now wondering, will this camaraderie sustain if they stepped out to meet a few people or some folks came home - say to meet them. How will he react? Will he go back into his shell? And will he look to her for emotional support?

you are right, they have so much time to be with each other without disturbance (not like in the serial😆) when circumstances changes things will change too, lets see what happens then 😉
