The reason is simple. Arshad's biryani was simple yet tasty so she called it homemade food and we love to eat homemade food everyday because they're easy to digest. That's what she meant to say. Zoya loves simplicity and that's why she chose Arshad's biryani but that doesn't mean she chose Arshad over Aditya for marriage so why these over reactions? Secondly, if Adi had knew Zoya is going to be the judge, he would have cooked simple biryani.

If there's a fault of someone then it's Waseem's who played a trick on Adi. By looking at the biryani, he realized Zoya will not declare him the winner so he chose her the judge.

Anyways, why bash Zoya for this one scene when she was so good with Adi throughout the episode?

It was not about the presentation n which tasted royally new n good. It was about zoyas own personal choice n preference. I can relate to her choice becos even i like simple well cooked dishes than royal differently cooked dishes with dry fruits n new things added in it. N zoya said it right, adis biryani type can b liked by royalties becos it was a royalty type dish which once in a while is very good to eat(in 5 star hotels) bt cant b eaten on daily basis.
