I thought Anusuya was pretending to be hypnotized but after seeing how she sent the message, I'm not sure anymore. I thought she was sending a message elsewhere just to pretend in front of Olympias and that the actual message will reach Alexander by some other means, such as Ambhiraj's spies.
The Laachi-Dasyuraj meeting was a nice touch. I would have applauded the actors in the scene for continuing to speak without getting breathless, considering they were treading water throughout, but then again the poor dubbing destroyed the effect for me. We could not hear the sounds of the water, which is very strange considering what was happening.
Like LuckySnow said in another post, I wonder if this is just a facade to keep Porus distracted by making him think they're building a bridge, because that's what the earlier Sony Alexander would have done. Not sure about this 2.0. In any case, Alexander won't cross the river using the bridge. God knows what alternative he will come up with later, but we'll have to wait a couple of months to see that.
This is the next layer of Alexander's planning, turning kingdoms against one another. The conflict between Dasyus and PR will intensify after this. Now Dasyuraj has another reason to be against Porus, because he thinks Laachi has been taken away from him to. If Dasyurani had been there, she would have been far tougher on both Porus and Laachi.
Porus' insistence on not proving Sumer's guilt makes Dasyuraj think that the PR royals are lying and trying to avoid the issue. I don't think it is a wise move because he is only angering Dasyuraj further and worsening the misunderstandings. I loved Dasyuraj for sticking to his plan of getting revenge for Sumer after all that happened, and I expect that even though their treaty with Alexander exempts the Dasyus from fighting against PR, Dasyuraj's might change his mind and attack anyone trying to destroy the bridge or at least tell Alexander about this. This is when Alexander might suspect that someone's passing messages to PR about what goes on in Taxila.
I'm expecting too much from the CVs again. đ
It would be sad to see father-daughter at war and for their relationship to be irrevocably damaged like that of Ambhiraj and Anusuya, but now that Porus knows that Alexander promised to hand over Anusuya, he's going to counter this somehow.
Dukhti rag... hmm. I really hope the CVs don't show Alexander failing to rescue his mother. That would be unacceptable, just like Porus will not let Anusuya be harmed either.
So Alexander is going to make Porus suffer? How? He can't even get to the other side. Is he going to burn down PR or are these just useless promises again? Also, he seems to be living on the beach. I guess they just shot several scenes there on one day and are just telecasting them in pieces.
