Ritvik assuming his family won't understand?

Hi

Why is Ritwik assuming that his family won't understand if he shares his feelings towards Palak? He should at least have tried to give them a clue before it's too late. He could have talked to at least his Mom or Rishabh about this... no one seems to be stubborn in his family, nor do they have any intentions of doing marriages for wealth sake..they seem pretty open minded when it comes to love and relationships.. they would have never forced Rithvik to get married to Ananya knowing that he loves someone else since they care for both of them ( Ananya won't be happy in such a relationship either and the family is mature enough to understand that) ... I think they wanted her since they really like her, she and Rithvik are childhood friends..so she knows Rithvik well and since he has trust issues and didn't want to get married at all, they thought she will be the right match for him since she will understand him more than anyone else and he will eventually accept her and this relationship like every other arranged marriage...but if they come to know he has fallen in love with another sweet girl, after the initial shock they will definitely support him...but if only he talks to them on time... if he doesn't say a word and all this jumps upon them out of blue at the last minute , they won't be able to take his side... they will be forced to take Puri's side since it's injustice towards them and Ananya..especially something like this happened to their own daughter and they know the pain..

Ritwik s silence will create a situation where they have to choose the other party's side and then he will be in a situation to choose between his love and his family...as Palak said he is being Villain of his own love story...

Poor Palak n Ananya.. both of them don't deserve this mess

He did not assume that till now. I think he just doesn't know what he wants yet. He doesn't know what he feels for palak is love. He is not able to understand his own emotions. When he realizes this, it will be too late to talk to family as half of wedding functions will be done 😆

He should have confided his Mom atleast 😭

He is still sceptical about the depth of his feelings. He somehow knows that he is in love with her (his words to ananya) but can't really figure it out along with the ongoing situations. By the time he realises it would be time to run away from the wedding 😆😆😉

He is going to have to hurt a lot of people . He has already hurt Palak so much.
