What an episode. Yes Adiya scene was passionate, especially when they were shown close up and her hair stuck in his button and he undoing that shirt button for her. They both were not sure what they were feeling in that moment. There was awkwardness, complete silence as they came close in such a fashion. One thing is sure, touch of Adi sends electric waves through Zoya. And that is exactly the reason he is afraid to touch her. Because his touch will betray his feelings for her. Unlike her touch which she does casually with just friendship in mind. That's why she is free, he is hesitant. Another thing to notice is that when Adi held her, Zoya was unsure, but definetely she was not uncomfortable. It only meant at subconscious level she is fine with that intimacy though she is not aware of it.
But what I loved the most was the kitty aunty, that is sweety's mother bickering with Zoya. Accusing her. Because her husband had affair she is roaming with other men. I was glad Zoya stood up to her and told it is not right to bring the sad past of someone again and again in front of them. She had moved on, Aditya has moved on, their families have moved on why that mistake is hanging over her. She had a failed marriage, she didnt knew about her husband's affair so what it is not the first time and last time it is happening. So true. What is the point holding on to that past. It is the time to move on. For me it was indirect message for Anjana also who never forgave Harsh in real sense but accepted him for society sake. Zoya had forgiven Yash and had created an identity of her own. She wants to move on, not hang on to her husband's betrayal. Irrespective of she standing up for Anjana, Anjana wanted her to go but then I would say the most beautiful thing happened. Aditya who takes Zoya's hand and comes in front of her.
Speaks to the woman who was trying to do character assassination of Zoya telling that was his room, his bathroom, his shower and he has right to do what he wants there. He need not give any explanation as nothing has happened there that needs an explanation. With that one sentence she shut up that sweety mother, stood up for their honor and respectability and threw those aunties out in a nice manner. His conviction was the beauty. Yes no wrong happened between them. They both knew it. So why stand with bowed head because society thinks they have done something wrong. Why try to give these third parties explanation on what happens in your bedroom. Who gives them right to poke in your personal affair. It was between him and Zoya. And only they needed to know the truth of it. Today CVs really upheld Aditya's character as a man with difference. He will stand up for Zoya. Society wont be able to throw muck at her, they will find him in front of her always.
PS: Aditya going inside the bathroom with bat reminded me of Zoya with that pen knife in Zosh office during riots. And the scene was equally funny when he finds her, she talks about being afraid of Anjana and then the slip happens. It was similar that night. She goes out in anger, but they come back together sharing an emotional bond and stay together that night. Today it was intimacy in broad day light. And I loved it once again. Adiya have nothing to hide. Whatever is there, the world can see it.
Aditya tells he was reminded of old Zoya. Yes before the arrow moves forward it has to move backward. And I loved his indirect reference sher ko bheegi billi bana diya. Aunty was billi. So who was sher. Adi himself, who was lost in her, who given a chance would not have wanted their shower to end. 😃
Most important Anjana threw Zoya out. She sneaked in and when Anjana found her, her hand was firmly held by Adi who stood in front of her. Anjana cannot stop that relation. She simply cannot. She can only keep her out when Adi is not there or when Adi is unconcious as we saw in that bullet scene. But Zoya will sneak past and will find her Adi. Not once. Every time as the destiny has connected them so there would be something to connect them always.
