As part of the 100th page celebrations, here's the first of many threads hopefully!

I now quote Mahi whose brainchild this is "I think for party, each one of us can talk about something special about your viewing experience"

So for this first thread in this chapter, the question is as follows:

Speak about the things that have been relatable for you personally in this show, something you could immediately relate to either out of your own personal experience or based on your observation of real life.

Come on guys let's get this rolling. It's party time after all and hopefully the pages will move faster and faster!!

Somethings I can relate to?

Definitely Sinha family. If any of us are from upper middle class/middle class background, we all have a mother like Gayatri. Her relation with Siddhant is something that I have with my mother. Though I am the daughter.

The relation that Siddhant and Pravakar shared also something I frequently experience. I guess one of my kids will grow up to have similar relation with thier father.

Something immediately relatable for me as I am a Tamilian are the veshtis worn by the father, i.e KK as my father wears veshtis at home all the time and the kanjeevarams worn for special occasions and the way the family calls one another appa, anna, etc.

The sad part of it is the Reddys are Telugu and not Tamil but well I can easily relate to them because of this.

Also the jewelry worn in yesterday's episode. very very relatable, all that very very yellow (yuck personally) pure gold looking jewelry and the traditional choker that Riddhi puts on Anushka.

Also the jasmine gajras worn on special occasions by all the women of the family.

partly the vibhuti applied under the bindi though in my family (maybe because we are Tamil Brahmins?? Don't know) we don;t do that.

PB sid relationship...

Like sid never Express his love to dad..

He cares for him but never shows...

They had a argument always they talk (most of the times)..

But both love each other but never express..

Some thing like is related to me ..

i love my dad ..

Now i am getting emotional.. 😭

Since I'm from the place where series is shot, it's very relatable to me, especially the earlier episodes shot in Delhi winter and now Delhi summer. I relate very well to the language they use, proverbs, sayings etc. Purva Sid banter reminds me of my sibling 😃

I can relate to Anushka, two reasons for that!

A- I somehow always connect to female leads. 😆

B- She is much like my mom when it comes to her character and the family dynamics too. Youngest child amongst two brothers, and not showcasing emotions, extremely attached to her dad!

I think the most relatable things for me are :

- Prabhakar Siddhant. That's me and dad replicated. So much of similarities - about unsaid things, trust issues and lot more

And also all communication gaps between the Sinha men and women (not sharing stuff, etc)

- Siddhant Anushka relation - again, highly relatable. Siddhant being career oriented while Anushka pining for his companionship and specially the Russia track - career vs family. Hence my craze for balcony scene and my immense love for that track. I forever am indebted to CVs to portray it so realistically!

Sidushka can be connected with multiple times - emotional vs tough personalities, unspoken love

😃

I am truly and madly in love with this show!

Also, the relations are so real life for me!

KK, Anushka, Siddhant, Prabhakar, Karthik
