Why Shefali's mother was silent !!

Today Arjun was coward as expected.

I think Shefali's mom had never trusted Arjun, even though he had promised big in front of her. She might have just kept quiet because of Shefali's faith. And now when she heard him saying that he hadn't promised any such thing, she would be big time disappointed.

If she would speak that means she knew about the relationship, they would have positively tell that she is also involved in this and then it may also come out that Arjun spent all night at her place when she was not there. It would defame sefali more and positively Arjun denied that too. So, it was a wise decision from her side not to speak because nobody would believe her and would start blaming her for her divorcee status.

When Arjun didn't have the guts to accept, it was wise of Shefali's Mom to be quiet and drag Shefali away. Shefali was in such a shock and desperately trying to get Arjun to accept, she would have even told about that night and things would get worse. No matter what the mother-daughter duo would be blamed.
Very sad ending. CVS should not redeem Arjun period. Such people do exist and I hope Naina sees what kind of a brother she has. She should remember how Sameer was ready to go to her house with her to face her family and tell it was his fault.

Arjun's character has always been shown as a spineless one and here also he did the same. It was he who has to stand for his girl who trusted him. But when he himself is quiet then it is better for Shefali's mother to keep quiet so that situation won't get worse.

Another point may be because of her divorce status. Such ladies are not seen with dignity. They were considered as Home breakers. To add that she is comparatively a new resident to that locality and Agarwal family is staying there for a long time. Another issue is she is only Christian in that locality. All are Hindus. So in every way she and Shefali belongs to a minority. They may not even allow her to complete her point and may shout and defame her more. She may be worried that they may even kill her and Shefali. So when she realized that Arjun himself is not raising even his smallest finger in Shefali's support then it is better to go away from there without creating much issues.

I really want Shefali to give a tight slap to Arjun before she leaves. He deserves it. Sadly people like Arjun exists in real life also.
