KK had already offered sid to join reddy corp. sooner or later he would get in.

howmuch ever he refuses its clear he did it only for anu. he had not even taken up the case initially. but then anu taunted him and it hurt him and he promised her he would save srikant even if his life was at risk.

he did it to show anu and to prove to her that he kept his promise. he was hurt that she dint trust him.

infact if u see the episode..he looked at anu the moment he ate the drug dose. also wen he fell on the table and joked that he had fainted he looked at anu to see her reaction.

sid wouldnt risk his life for srikant or kk.
